Both the hair cutter and trimmer worked great and were relatively quiet. The only issue I had with the user (me) was their inexperience. After cutting my hair, I called my son to have him check out my new hairdo. He told me it looked great except for the patch of hair I had missed on the back of my head.
After getting a second mirror to check my “patch”, I realized my “patch” looked more like a peacock’s tail. Some more trimming was done and all was GREAT.
I bought this to cut my husband’s hair during this lockdown and couldn’t be happier. It comes with all the necessary accessories. My husband loved his cut from home and he is now considering getting all his cuts at home and saving money. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get haircuts at home.
I’ll tell ya if the one good thing that has come out of this whole pandemic, it has got to be that even after years and years of owning one of these, I’ve finally learned how to cut my hubby’s hair to the point where he/we can’t tell whether a barber did it or I did it! While I had played around cutting my hubby’s hair, the pandemic threw me over the edge. All I did was watch a YouTube video and it all came together nicely. Just wish I had learned and watched that YouTube video a couple of $$$ ago.
Thanks Lisa, this gives me hope! I attempted to cut my sons hair only to find out my clippers didn’t work but I did pretty good with the scissors. I too watched the videos and have been wanting to learn bc my son hates going. Now all I need is a salon cape (and I think I deserve an apron 😉).
I just bought a similar set, same brand at Target for $34.99. Looks to have all the same stuff included in the kit. There was also a set for $26.99 but not available in my area or to ship to me. I’m very excited!

I got this kit! Cut 3 boys hair back to back no problems. Does get little hot but not hot enough to where you can’t hold it. Gets the job done.
