Sonic’s Red White & Blue Slush Float Will Not Be Coming on June 29th

Unfortunately, we just got word that this patriotic drink is not coming to SONIC this summer (it was originally slated to be released on June 29th).
We were so excited to try SONIC’s Red White and Blue Slush Float as it was supposed to be made with three layers: SONIC’s Blue Raspberry Slush on the bottom, 100% real vanilla ice cream in the middle, and Real Fruit Strawberry Slush on top.
Try your favorite drinks for half-price during SONIC’s Happy Hour every day from 2 PM – 4 PM. Better yet, drinks and slushies are always half-price when you order through the SONIC app!

Oh no! I was all about this til I realized it isn’t the typical red white blue flavors (raspberry, lemon, & cherry maybe?) Really ruined it with ice cream – YUCK! Ice cream in a slush? That sounds horrible. And since when does sonic or anyone else use real vanilla ice cream? That’s a bold claim! Finding real ice cream of any flavor is like finding a unicorn these days!
Jenn, have you ever ordered their cream slushes? It’s a slush mixed with their ice cream – it’s my favorite thing to order from Sonic. My favorite is the strawberry cream slush – tastes like a lighter strawberry shake! My husband’s favorite is is the orange cream slush, tastes like a dreamsicle!

Moira, that is so sad. I always get 1/2 priced slushes when ordering through the app. Perhaps you might try uninstalling and then re-installing the app. If that doesn’t work, perhaps you can try contacting them via the app or email…
Ice Cream slushees are usually 1/2 price around 8…if they’re still doing that this summer! They aren’t included with the 1/2 price app deal…
