Wow, if I see Fiddle Leaf Fig plants at that price I’m buying a few. I’m obsessed with these and the cheapest ones around cost at least $13 at the local grocery store. Pro Tip: Cut them in half and you have two plants!

I love plants… too bad I’m terrible at keeping them alive😭

    • Bryant

Kayla, don’t be afraid to give it another go. I always advise getting plants dirt cheap and learning which types you can keep alive. It’s really trial and error. I find the Money Tree very finicky, but so far I haven’t killed any. I’ve managed to kill all of my orchids — eventually. lol. Fiddle Leaf Figs plants are said to be finicky too, but so far I’m not having any issues. Good luck!

I’m the same way. Even killed a cactus. 😳

The Fiddle Leaf Figs at my ALDI were pathetic. Super tiny and not at all healthy looking. Lots of brown spots on the leaves like they had a disease and soft wilty leaves. I was so disappointed.

Yes the fiddle leaf plants are my store looked nearly dead. I often scope the “clearance” plants at places like Lowe’s and we’ve managed to bring a fair few plants back from the edge but these were goners for sure.

I got myself the money tree yesterday😋😋

Yay! Glad you could grab one!

Shoot… Going to have to set the alarm and get there in the morning. I saw some this evening passing by and they looked good but I didn’t really have time to take a close look!

Yeah, the money tree is awesome. I got one for my mom and all she needs to do is put 1 or 2 ice cubes to water it. It was weird at first but I guess it works. She has had it for like 2 years now.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

How neat! Thanks for sharing, Liz D!

Ha! I may have to try this with a hanging plant of mine that is a total pain to water, but I can reach up high enough to throw some ice cubes into the planter!
