Sprint Customers Can Add Unlimited Phone Line for FREE w/ No Monthly Charge ($400+ Yearly Savings)
Sprint customers! Add a line for FREE!
For a limited time, Sprint is offering select customers their Unlimited Line On Us Plan for FREE with no monthly service plan charge – that’s a savings of over $400 per year!
To see if you are eligible for this promotional offer, log in to your existing Sprint account and look for a blue banner near the top of the page stating “Great news! Add a line of Unlimited for $0/mo.” If you do see this banner, simply bring in your own phone and add a free line, buy a new phone, or reserve a free line now and add a phone later!
To be eligible for this offer, you must be an existing Sprint customer prior to June 17th, 2020, have an eligible Sprint plan, have at least one active voice line, and are eligible to add a line of service to your account.
The Unlimited Line On Us Plan includes Unlimited data, talk, and text w/ International text and data + DVD-quality SD video streaming, and will be free for as long as you remain a Sprint customer and keep all current phone lines on your account active through June 30, 2021. Any modification may make you ineligible to continue Sprint’s Unlimited Line On Us Plan.

I’m interested to know the algorithm for those eligible! I’ve been with Sprint for 15 years and have 3 lines. Hmm🧐
Hi there! Here are the details on those that are eligible – “To be eligible for this offer, you must be an existing Sprint customer prior to June 17th, 2020, have an eligible Sprint plan, have at least one active voice line, and are eligible to add a line of service to your account.”
Hope this helps!
Was wondering same thing. Have been with them 24 years and have 3 lines and 3 watches, but no offer.
Catch?
Here are additional details on how the offer works – “it will be free for as long as you remain a Sprint customer and keep all current phone lines on your account active through June 30, 2021. Any modification may make you ineligible to continue Sprint’s Unlimited Line On Us Plan.”
You do have to pay a 1 time $30 activation fee
Hi Amanda, No there are no activation fees. I called to get my 76 yr old mom a free line and I was told by Carlos- Sprint representative that all fees have been waived. I am doing the happy dance!
It says you will be charged $30 on the first month bill.
I doubled checked the paperwork that they emailed to me and it shows zero for activation fees. Hope that helps!
That is so strange! My paperwork and the Rep told me $30! You are so lucky LOL!
Were u in store, because I kn in store charges on line generally will waive fee…if that helps at all
I am also getting the $30 activation fee note on mine
Not so much a catch, but you do have to pay the $30 activation fee on next month’s bill. I was told they do not waive it on this promo. Also, depending on your zip code, you will be taxed on the $35 plan. Mine comes to $6.32 per month, so not entirely free. Nothing in life is. lol
I have been with Sprint for around 20 years or so. I have one line with an old 6s. I got the offer. I’ve been out of contract for quite awhile. My husband also got the offer on his account and his leases just ran out on his two lines. He has been a sprint customer for about 2 years.
I am all over this!!
It’s a real shame they can’t just make one of our current lines free for those of us that have no use for a new line.
If someone is willing to change their phone number and your phones are paid off you could start this new line and then cancel one of your old lines. We’ve done it before with different promotions.
Can’t do that on this promotion per requirements: “will be free for as long as you remain a Sprint customer and keep all current phone lines on your account active through June 30, 2021. Any modification may make you ineligible to continue Sprint’s Unlimited Line On Us Plan.”
Also that is called “churning” and cell phone companies can terminate your service with them if it is discovered. But looks like you got lucky! I worked for AT&T and this is something they monitor very closely.
I agree, very misleading.
thanks, my husband got the offer and I will go on his plan. It gave me a option to reserve my spot since I want to find a new phone before I switch. Really easy to do and will save me $30 a month with the plan I am currently on. Just in time as my phone is dying:( anyway.
Oh good! You’re so welcome, Teresa!
I just called Sprint and I got the deal. My mom is 76 yrs old and she has a track phone. All we have to do is purchase a SIM card for the phone which is about $10. Her line is free for unlimited, talk, text and data. She does not use her phone as much as we do but it will cause her to leave her cell phone on more because she is afraid of running out of minutes.
Yay! SO happy you could grab the offer for your mom, Tammy!
What about T-mobile customers since they just merged?
T-Mobile actually has this deal quit often which is (why sprint is offering it after the merger would be my guess) we’ve taken advantage (4) three times already with great success (first time unsuccessful apparently it ended before our phone shipped but they fixed it). If it’s not happening now just wait on it, it will TRUST me.
My husband called sprint. The told him they would add the deal and call him tomorrow. Hope that works
So is it free for as long as the phone is used on Sprint or just until June of next year?
Hi Jodi! It will continue to be free as long as you don’t make any changes to your plan. You can find those full details in the bottom of the post. Hope this is helpful!
Thank you! I ordered an used phone for my daughter. Surprising her later with her new phone. She will be so excited
Perfect timing! My husband and I were just considering getting our son his first phone!
Nice!
The service plan is free, yes, but keep in mind, taxes on the $35 (credited monthly service plan) will be billed monthly. I will be paying $6.32 per month. Still a great deal, but not entirely free. Also, the agent would not waive the $30.00 activation fee, stated that it could not be done on this offer.
My daughter and I have the kickstart plan. We were not eligible for this offer. I would have added my son!
Zero activation fee for me it was waived.
Were u in store, because I kn in store charges on line generally will waive fee…if that helps at all
Can you use your own existing phone?
Yes, but you’ll need to go to the Sprint website to see if your phone is eligible. They have a “check compatibility” feature where you’ll need to enter the phone’s IMEI or MEID number. There are simple instructions on how to find that number on the phone.
Thanks Dawn! 🤗
Since T-Mobile bought Sprint, I was told they can only guarantee anything including your existing contract for 2 years. Than they promise cheaper rates. So don’t expect for as long as you have acct. with no changes. Also don’t hold your breath on “cheaper rates”.
I wonder if the free line has hot spot data included?
Hi there! Here is what is included – “includes Unlimited data, talk, and text w/ International text and data + DVD-quality SD video streaming”. Hope this helps!
Can I cancel some lines on my account then get this free promo?
Not Every Plan is Eligable unfortunately. I know, I Tried. We fit all the categories. Even been with Sprint for over 12 years and have 3 lines. They told me we didnt qualify still. I hope everyone else has better luck. Oh, At the end of the call Representative says – We are eligable to add a ‘4th’ line if Wed like to do it today. Wow!!!
You only get 2g of data, and international calling is $0.25 cents a minute.
