If you have not tried these before, tread lightly. They taste great. I ate only two tiny squares and woke up in the night thinking I was dying. I had such horrible intestinal pain and cramps. I could not even move it was so intense. It lasted for a couple hours.

Oh no! So sorry to hear that. Thanks for the warning!

    • ccmama

Odd – I eat these all the time

Chocolate chips are great, the bats taste great but left me with a belly ache and trips to the bathroom. I still buy them, just one or two squares at a time!

I wonder if they have coconut oil or stevia in them?

I made my own “homemade” version of keto-friendly chocolate, thinking I’d save a few bucks on my next Whole Foods trip. Simple recipe of cocoa powder, coconut oil, sugar-free vanilla, and stevia. Unfortunately, I didn’t stop at “just one” square. I was watching a movie and fell back into my binging habit…and ate too much (C’mon, chic flick with Matthew McConaughey = chocolate in vast quantities. It’s unavoidable.). The rest of the night…pain for hours! Or as Matthew McConaughey would say, “(I was not) alright, alright, alright.” My husband tried to be sympathetic as I whimpered beside him in bed. I kept whimpering, “I think I’m gonna die.” My husband, lovingly, knew that was my typical overreacting self and rolled over and went to sleep. I, however, hugged my porcelain throne as I proceeded to get sick. So, be wary…it tastes delicious…but just a couple of bites or you’ll think death is near and you’ll find out how well your quarantine cleaning skills really are.

I haven’t had one of these in about a year. I wonder if the changed their formula? I never had gut distress.

There is also a .75 off offer in the coupons.com app if you’re wanting to grab two bars.

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

We’re not seeing those, Sara, but we’ll keep an eye out!

      • Sara Arthur

That’s interesting, on mine it doesn’t expire until 8/1. But my Ibotta offer for Lily’s at Target is also only $0.25 back so maybe it’s just another user specific deal.

what does this mean below? I can do 6 separate transactions in 1 day, 4 bars in each transaction so I can buy 24 bars at 30% off in one day. Don’t laugh… these bars are my main treat and I love them.

    Terms & Conditions
Each Circle offer can be used for a maximum of 4 qualifying items per transaction, unless otherwise noted. Limit 1 Circle account per transaction and 6 Circle transactions per day. Void if copied, scanned, altered, transferred, purchased, sold, or prohibited by law. Offer expires 11:59 PM PST. Cannot be applied to previous purchases. Item(s) may not be available at all stores. Quantities limited; no rain checks. Offer value may not exceed value of item purchased. No cash value

    • kellyluvsdealz

I think it means 6 Different Circle items. So, I think you can only get four bars.

    • Missy

Yes you can buy 24 as long as you do 6 separate transactions with 4 bars in each

      • dhcoupons

thanks. I won’t have that many coupons but 30% is better than full price. i tried to print 2 coupons but they only allowed me to print one. those coupon sites are annoying. anyone have a hint how to print 2 coupons these days?

  7. Rachel

Oh my! Why are so many people having belly problems from this?

  8. MrsBK

The erythritol and stevia in these can cause GI issues if u are sensitive. I had same problem with Halo Top ice cream.

    • oo

I had the same reaction to erythritol when I tried the free Bai Bing Cherry drink that was free on Ibotta awhile back. It was the only thing new I had all day so I looked at the ingredients, and looked up Erythritol since it seemed suspicious. Sure enough some people have stomach upsets to this sweetener.
