This is so great! I don’t use all of these products but didn’t want to go through the hassle of figuring out how to replace them (especially since things were already selling out– I replaced the Gillette blades with a Venus razor I could use, which raised my cost a bit, but it’s ok), so I’m going to donate the ones I don’t want to a local shelter. Win-win!

King C Gillette Men’s Double Edge Safety Razor Blades & beard balm ran out as I was adding everything to my cart- any suggestions Hip2Savers? šŸ™‚

    • LisaMarieRose

Looks like the balm is about to go out but i eventually got it into my cart. Will I still get 10k points for spending $20 (12.99 + 7.99) or is that only after coupons I have to spend the $20?

  3. fly2sky

already does not work as the blades are out of stock.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the heads up! We’ll get that updated!

  4. Margaret Myron

How do you get to the 5,000 Balance Rewards Points w/ $25+ purchase digital coupon? When I click the link, it takes me to all the coupons, and I cannot find it.

    • Deb

I cannot find the 5 off $25 coupon either??

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hmm, maybe try refining your search by expiration. It is one of the first offers listed for me. Hoping this helps!

  5. Tina

I can’t get the 10% off code to work. It says I need to sign in but I already am.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hmm, maybe try a different browser OR switch to desktop view if using a mobile device. Hoping that helps!

  6. Seema

Can I purchase Olay face products instead of shaver and shaving cream

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

It looks like Olay does qualify!

  7. LisaMarieRose

I am going to try and replace some things for the mens shaving stuff, but does anyone know, if the 15k points with $50 purchase, is that $50 before or after coupons? Thank you!! šŸ™‚

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! You will need to reach $50 after coupons to qualify for the rebate. Hope this helps!

    • Lorraine

Where is the $15k point for $50 purchase located?

      • Diana

        This is a rebate

        • Chris

Its not. Walgreens is offering 15K points on $50 order of certain products like Old Spice and Gillette which stacks with 20K with $60 order. The 15K/$50 rebates matches up with a lot of P&G items which can be used for their rebates of a $15 back offer. The 15K should add to your account on the order if you hit Walgreens threshold.

          • Lorraine

Thank you Chris. I am considering doing this deal in store. I know I will not get the bonus 20k points. How do I get the 15k points on a purchase of $50 beauty and personal items
            Where is this deal located?

  8. fly2sky

thanks did the always pads b1g50% with $4 coupon on 2 instead of the blades

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

You’re welcome! Thanks for sharing your score!

  9. blossom

My points estimate was way lower, around 24K points? Will it update correctly once the order is shipped? I’m so confused

    • MollyMi

Mine did the same thing – the amount of estimated points went down on the checkout page. Hoping the amount that gets added is the one I saw when looking at the cart page!

  10. Susan

I just went through and bought things that we needed/ made more sense for my family – the beard stuff wasn’t needed. The estimated points awarded during shopping were 53,730 and at checkout were 18,730. A difference of 35,000 which I believe is the 15k bonus for spending $50 on certain products plus the 20k for spending $60 online; I’m hoping they show up. Fingers crossed everything ships!

  11. Kitty

The last time I did a P&G rebate on walgreens.com I never got it.

    • Chris

It was a mail in rebate/submit online through pgrebates.com so it wouldn’t have been given by Walgreens if I am understanding you correctly. If you submitted there and didn’t get it youd have to reach out to P&G.

    • Diana

It has to be $50 before coupons and you can follow up/check status when you submit.

  12. TracyS

Just called CS, because my estimated points dropped to 18K at the checkout screen. I was told that since my total after coupons was under $60, I would not earn the 20K points. Please reply if anyone actually earned 20K wtith a total under $60.

    • Susan

I’m hoping it’s totaled differently for bonuses since I should have also received the 15k and that was removed as well

      • TracyS

Did you spend $50 on the products that earn the 15k after coupons were used?

        • Susan

Yes. Both promotions I qualified for. The 20k for $60 spend says $60 after discounts and credits, but does not say after coupons which are typically listed separately so Iā€™m hoping itā€™s fine.

          • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

We had a lot of this same feedback on yesterday’s post, but lots of those have come back to comment that when their order shipped, they got all the points they expected/what was shown in the post.

          • Glenn

There is an asterisk by the offer, but I could not find the fine print anywhere on the website. Do you know exactly what it says?

    • Angie

I think you are be right. I just tried to read the fine print and it says $60 after ā€œdiscounts.ā€ I wish I would have read that before doing this. I waited until today to avoid problems like this. ā˜¹ļø Thank you for calling CS. I should have done that!

  13. Amy

Thank you for putting this list together for us! I used it as a starting point and then made some changes as needed based on what was in stock and what I can use. I don’t like Secret, so I added a bunch of Old Spice products, and I switched up the Olay products. There are also some slightly different coupons on my account. In any case, I would never have gotten close to the point total you have here without this as a starting point. Thanks!

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

You’re so welcome, Amy! Glad we could help you make a deal for yourself.

  14. LisaMarieRose

I think I spent like 3 hours on this. Hahah. But if my math is right (at end) I will have spent $3 after rewards and such for everything we will use….
I subbed stuff that made sense for our family, and made sure to hit the $50 for items qualifying in the beauty & personal care, like pads for me and organic tampax for my daughter, I did 2 secret deodorants for she & I, and 2 old spice body washes for my hubby, 2 olay face washes for my daughter & I, 2 old spice deoderants for hubby, and 2 hair coloring kits (clairola nice & easy which also had a $5 coupon plus somehow it tagged on an extra 5k in RR). grand Total came to like $74. But with a total of 56k RR (which did show in checkout screen) plus I have enough for the $15 Proctor Gamble visa card after all coupons clipped.

So if my math comes out right… $74 – $15 (for via card) – $56 (RR) = $3 for every single thing we will use! šŸ™‚

Oh and I did it in Ebates so I will get some change back from that too!

  15. Chris

Was looking to take part but a lot of stuff is gone and I don’t feel like forcing it. Would have loved to partake in this but most King C Gillete gone now. Old Spice is another solid one to stack as its buy four get 10,000 points on some body sprays, body washes and deodorants (i think Olay and Secret are in there too). Old Spice i know counts for the PG rebate.

  16. trueheart99

I cannot ever find the Balance Rewards Points coupon What a hassle

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Darn! Be sure to try to refine your search. Maybe try sorting by expiration. Hoping that might help!

  17. Susan

Confused on “Get back 63,760 Balance Rewards Points ($63.76 Reward)”
    Does this happen automatically?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yes! Be sure you are logged in to your account and follow the steps listed above.

  18. Julia Fuhrer

Can you apply one receipt for the PG rebate or do you need one form for each product purchased to receive the rebate? Thank you.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yes! You can submit just one receipt for all of your items.

  19. erinnicole

Is it worth waiting for the Beauty Event tomorrow? Do you think you guys will have a scenario for that?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for asking! We’ll be sure to check it out and see what we can come up with!

  20. Tracey

How are you guys getting the receipt in jpg to upload for the J&J rebate? The walgreens receipt is so huge, and the J&J rebate will only let you upload one page. It’s so frustrating.

    • Sara

Iā€™m trying to figure this out now too. Kinda complicated……

      • Susan

Do you mean the P&G rebate? My receipt has the option to save as a pdf and then I uploaded that.

  21. Susan

Just came back to say the points posted! The higher amount shown vs the lower amount shown at checkout – thanks for this awesome deal!

    • Susan

I bought different things, but ended up paying around $70 and got 45,000 points — $45. Then with the $20 from PG I’ll end up paying about $5 for 2 Olay moisturizers, a razor, 4 packs of paper towels, and 3 dental floss. Huge thanks for all those posting this deal!

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yay! You’re so welcome! Thank YOU for the update!
