On the fence? Check out this 5-star review…

“I bought this game as a family game for my boys. We are a family of five, with the oldest who is 15 and the youngest is 6 years old. All of us find it very entertaining, even us adults. The game is stimulating and we always find word combinations that are silly and funny.

My main concern was the level of appropriateness. I simply remove some cards based on the crowd playing with the game.

One of my sons is very shy by nature and seeing him come out of his shell as he is playing with his friends, makes it worth it. As a mom, seeing your family laughing and interacting with one another is priceless!”

Keep in mind that some card are SUPER inappropriate for young kids. We only played once (my kids are 7 and 12) and put it on Craigslist for sale.

This is the kids version. Wayyyy different from Cards Against Humanity.

Yes I am aware of that. I also saw some amazon reviews mentioning the kids version are not really for kids

Thanks for posting your experience. I was going to send this to my nieces and nephews as a gift, but went back and took a closer look at the cards. “Chewbacca’s Dingleberries”? My sister would have killed me!

Isn’t Apples to Apples basically the same thing but even more appropriate for younger children?

    • spcmartinm

Yes! But without the potty humor

    Yes, not real “family friendly”

  4. Mom of twin 13 year old girls

My 13 year old girls love this game. Grandma’s skin tags and Moobs are a couple examples of ones that made them do that awkward and genuine middle school laugh with a couple of friends at a socially distant play date. I love that laugh and love this game and we have played it with our children and allowed them to play it with a few friends. Definitely a great game for the right kids and families.
