I got 2 of these for each of my kids (for Christmas). My daughter struggles with sleep, she has autism and already has a weighted lap blanket that she loves. I sneakily opened this blanket (with plans to wash it before Christmas) and slept with it myself. I love this blanket. I’m going to get one for me now lol. These are great! I find that the 15 lb weighted blanket my teenage daughter uses is too much for me. I bought a 4.5 lb kids blanket (on sale of course) to try. I don’t love the baby shark design but I do love that it helps me sleep! I need one slightly longer so I am going to check these out. I have restless leg syndrome and the extra weight helps to calm my jumpy legs and lets me fall asleep!
My Baby Shark one is 36×48 ($20 on Walmart.com, by the way) and 4.5 lbs. Its perfect for a toddler. I ordered the 41×60 7lb one for just slightly over that price with this deal. I wish it were a little lighter but I think that the extra weight distributed over the extra size will make it similar to what I am used to. It will also be long enough to cover from my toes to my waist, unlike what I am using now.
