Oh noooooooo! I hate that.. i like knowing everything is $1! Every single time i go to another $ store and see something i like i always forget to ck the tag and its always more than $1!!!! I dont like this at all.

It’s separate so you can tell, Diana. There are big banners all over and they have higher-priced items in certain sections.

Have you ever actually went into a store before? People pick up things then leave them all over the store.

        • tipaye

          Then check the price tag…

      Exactly!

I agree, other stores have raised their prices and lowered quality!
Dollar Tree is already making smaller sizes with less ingredients!
I guess these chickens have finally come home to roost!
Your jobs go overseas or people are imported to take your jobs. The globalists elite call you stupid, while raising prices so they can make more from you!
Sounds like a lousy trade off to me!

This is a bummer but I get it. It’s great for easy access that you only have to visit one store. Happy Shopping!

This is like targets $10 spot that used to be a $1. Slowly the $1 section will get smaller and the quality of $1 items will go lower.

I’m not so sure. It’s been around for over a year now and only select stores. My store has a very small area dedicated to it.

I genuinely don’t want to offend anyone on a tight budget… If $3-$5 backpacks are all you can afford at the moment, it’s still great that you’re providing your child with school supplies.
Based on my personal experience high quality backpacks, especially when purchased on sale/clearance, are a much better deal long term than cheaper ones. My daughter went through 3 cute backpacks in kindergarten (when they don’t have to carry much) from places like Crazy 8 and Target. By the time I added up those (3) $15-$20 backpacks I would have saved money buying a PB Kids (or similar) on sale that would have lasted 2-3 school years.

While I don’t mind a few higher priced items at Dollar Tree, it was nice to be able to take my stepson and daughter there when they were very little to pick out presents for all their relatives and let them pick out anything they wanted. My MIL was a great sport when my then 3yo daughter gifted her with a neon pink fake hair piece LOL

I love your comment! My daughter’s favorite day of the month is when we go to the Dollar Tree and she gets to pick out a few toys for being a good sport with her chores. We call it our mom & daughter date.

Ps- we own like 4 of those fake neon pink hair pieces 🙂 lol

Something about knowing everything is a dollar makes me feel like a baller on a shopping spree. Please dollar tree don’t take this away from us!

Definitely reminds me of how target’s dollar spot went up in price. Things I bought a year or two ago for $1 at target are now $3. I haven’t seen the $3-$5 items at our dollar tree and we were in there like two weeks ago.
