This is a really cute item, and large enough to be useful for holding a variety of items. My daughter loves unicorns, and this will be a great decor item in her bedroom. For a younger child, it could work as a laundry basket, but I suspect she will use it to hold blankets, books, slippers, or other miscellaneous items. It’s very well made and doesn’t look tacky like some other kids items – great for older kids, or even adults who want a little whimsy in their life.

These were a great way to add a natural element to my home at a great price. I am using these “trays” more as baskets: one to conceal some of our older DVDs and CDs in our media area, but really I bought these for our kittens to nap in! Overpriced! $119 for a unicorn basket?! Not even at pottery barn and $52 doesn’t seem like a great deal either for what it is. Just my 2 cents. They are cute though.
