Our old blender was a wedding gift 12 years ago. I actually was happy when it finally died so that I could get something better. LOVE this blender! It is super strong and will crush the ice to consistency like Starbucks Frappuccino in seconds, not just grainy chunks! The food processor works well too. I also like that there are suction cups at the bottom that can be locked down to keep blender in place while in use.

I just got mine & love it! I have crushed ice into snow, made green smoothies and using the single serve blender I have ground coffee beans ❤️ . Buyer be careful the blades on the blender are extremely sharp!! I learned lol
