Ulta Beauty Is Planning to Open Mini-Shops Inside Target | 100 Locations by Early 2021

Ulta Beauty is planning to open mini cosmetics stores inside 100 Target locations early next year. This new partnership between Ulta and Target is expected to bring some of Ulta’s pricer brands to Target’s growing beauty business, which has traditionally targeted younger and more budget-conscious consumers.
The first of these 1,000 square-foot mini-Ultas are expected to open in 2021, with some locations inside select Target stores opening before the end of the year. Several hundred of these shop-in-shop destinations will open in the coming years as the partnership expands.
The new Ulta Beauty at Target shops will be located near Target’s beauty section, in a space designed to showcase a wide range of brands and products that are new to Target. Beauty enthusiasts can expect to find limited-edition items, capsule collections, and skincare and haircare staples from Ulta.
Shoppers can also expect an “immersive” online shopping experience on Target.com. The retailer plans to integrate Ulta’s personalized services and digital tools into its beauty shopping experience. This initiative includes Ulta’s GLAMLab, which is a virtual try-on tool that provides a safe and fun way to test beauty products before buying.
Best of all, you’ll be able to save money by taking advantage of Target’s free shipping on qualifying orders. Shoppers will also be able pick up their Ulta Beauty items fast and free with Target’s contactless same-day fulfillment services (Drive Up and Order Pickup) at participating locations.
