   Silly question, on the apple earpods, do you need the wireless charging chase or is the standard apple AirPods with charging case fine? Getting for a gift and don’t know much about them. Thanks!

  Hi smithjohnson16. Apple AirPods come with a case and you need the case in order to charge the AirPods. I hope that answers your question.

  I have the ones with the wires charging case and I think I they’re fine. My phone can use a wireless charger, but I usually plug it in. Just depends on your preference in my opinion.

   We didn’t buy them when they were $99 bc we thought our daughter would lose them. Well she worked hard and saved and bought herself an iPhone 12 and can no longer use her wired headphones. Now they are on her Christmas list. Are they going to be on sale anywhere for $99 again?

  I deliberately passed on these when they were $99 because no one mentioned they wanted them. This weekend my husband shared that he thought they’d be cool to have since the wire from his earbuds get in the way often. So, I wanted to hold off in case they drop down to $99 again but decided today to just go ahead and get them instead of waiting around for a drop that may or may not come. For me it’s worth the $30 to have it already marked off the list.

   They are $99 at Costco and walmart(but they were sold out here)

   I have the ones with a charging case and it holds the charge for them and can be plugged into to charge. I love not having wires when working or talking on the phone while working around the house or walking the dog. Hope that helps.
