This garbage disposal is super easy to install! When my InSinkErator Badger 5 got totally rusted in less than 2 years, I saw this one on sale and decided to give it a try. Now I am super glad I did since it was almost half the price and the installation was a breeze.
First, all the pieces were connected when the product was shipped, and I thought some of the parts were missing so I called customer service. The customer service was very prompt, and the representative sent the part in free of charge the very next day without thousands of questions.
I finally installed it and I just couldn’t believe how easy it was compared to InSinkErator Badger 5. Waste King’s EZ mount system is foolproof for real. You read through the instruction as it recommends, then you are good to go.
One downside of this garbage disposal is it comes with a plug-in cord. So if you don’t have an outlet under the sink, you either have to create one or have to cut the cord and do hardwire it. I really wanted to make an outlet under the sink, but I was not handy so I just cut the cord and hard-wired it. It is working beautifully and I think the noise level is almost the same or slightly less than InSinkErator Badger 5. I have been using it for a few months now, and really there is no complaint!

Super thanks. My disposal has been dead (I thought) for 3-4 YEARS. I followed your link and started reading details and comparing and learned that some disposals have manual reset buttons. Went and poked around mine and now it works! You saved me money and the hassle (even if it would have been as simple as it advertises) of installing a new one. LOL.
