It says “nurses”, but does anyone know if that includes CNAs? We keep getting left out of all the nurse/frontline worker discounts but this doesn’t specify what kinds of nurses get the discount. I’m hoping we CNAs can because after covid went through our building, I need new shoes!

Unable to get Sheer ID to verify! I’m a Registered Nurse but the BRN no longer issues ID cards as of last year. The old cards show 2019 expiration dates. They would need to input our license # into the BRN verification website. My employee ID also does not have an expiration date (which the Sheer ID requires) and I refuse to send a copy of my paystub (also electronic)! Ridiculous considering the BRN has also suspended renewal requirements due to the pandemic.
try putting in that your org is your states board of nursing.
What about teachers, we are now on the front lines being exposed daily. Even when kids are remote I’m in a building with 200 employees. For those that have trouble verifying they really shouldn’t make it that difficult. Glad they included the military and most of the medical profession, better than nothing
Most people have to work around other people and with some, it is a lot more than 200. They are not considered front line just like you are not.
I think many will quit in the next couple of years. Too risky for their families.
I do not feel sorry for the healthcare system. They have closed hospitals but overworked and underpaid for years.
They wine about underserved communities. Big Pharma and Big Insurance are the cause of the problem and will never be the solution.
I recall in 2008 the Bankers did not solve the Housing Crisis. Maybe because they were the problem to begin with.
I do feel sorry for the people working for the system hoping to get a few crumbs for themselves.
