My daughter works for PetSmart. Something went wrong early this morning which affected over 700 products. Stores got slammed with orders and corporate was notified. They remedied the issue by zeroing out local inventory online and cancelling any new orders. There were some lucky shoppers, but many more irritated PS employees. They took a hit. My daughter said she’s really looking forward to coming home later. <3

I placed my order and it went through but I never got a confirmation email
The same thing happened to me. Out of curiosity, I checked my credit card activity and saw where the charge was refunded. Looks like the order was cancelled and refunded.

The timing of your refund depends on your bank. Some take longer to release holds. Most are cleared within 5 business days.
Unfortunately, in order to fix the problem, PS had to address something which prevented confirmation emails from going out or order histories being viewed. Some will receive late confirmations (usually followed by a modification/cancelation email) while others will just silently be refunded.
Ordered the cat food and it was cancelled. Called the store and they confirmed the comments above. They had a server/corporate issue that caused a bunch of discounts that should not have happened.

Same here!! I had placed two orders. One for me and one for my mom. My order got cancelled but she lives an hour and a half away and was able to pick up her order! $99.59 worth of dog food and cat food for only $9.35.
