Love it! When H2S posts the deals and tells us the details and coupons, LOVE IT!
However, everyone beware just a bit. One store will not give you an issue when cashing in on these and another may not want to give you the discount/rewards or use multiple coupons. I sometimes have to argue with them. I get a favorable outcome most of the time.
But I love it when H2S gives these deal posts. Between Walgreens, Target, CVS and Rite Aid I save hundreds of dollars a year. BIG THANKS
You are so welcome! We love to hear these are helpful and that you save.

I would agree that there can be a real difference in stores. I hope everyone only has a positive happy experience in these deals. It just makes you happy to hear everyone’s success and share!!!
But just in case here’s a link to the general coupon policy. If you are able to go in the stores to shop print it out and carry it with you or create a bookmark that you can show to the store manager. It fixes a lot of things quickly.

You might want to bookmark this also as an easy way to do a chat with a rep. Helpful questions and answers under the heading of “Coupons” can be found there. I suggest reading through them for a better understanding of what the policies really are so that you can confidently state your case and prove it if need be.
I would love to see some more Walgreens deals! Where you guys shop for several items.
We have lots more Walgreens deals over here.
The $4 coupon is not coming up for me.. the only one i can find is the $1. Help?
If it’s a Walgreens digital coupon, it will be available on the day the sale begins – 17th.
I just saw that, silly me! Thank you!
Not silly! I understand (as I walk to the kitchen and forget why I went there), ashley!
I can’t find the $4 L’Oréal hair care coupon. It’s Sunday.
Hey Bec! I’m not seeing it on the coupon page, but if you go to the actual product, I do see an even better coupon you can clip there. It’s $6/2 and I see it on this page.
Well the $4 just popped up for me, but not the $6 lol!
So odd! I’m glad you found one! I wonder if the amount varies by region.

Persil and L’Oréal fans might want to buy a copy of the newspaper on Sunday or ask friends and family to clip the coupons for them. The RetailMeNot insert for this Sunday is scheduled to have them although that can vary from newspaper to newspaper. You can pay for a newspaper with MyWalgreens rewards and some areas have Dollar Trees that sell copies for a $1. The Persil coupon has a limit of one requiring separate transactions. At Walgreens you can’t use a coupon on free items. Read the fine print on the manufacturer’s coupon to understand all the limits.
Thank you!
If I use Walgreens cash, on a Walgreen deal to get cash back, does it work..
FYI – The Smartcare hand sanitizer deal for me is Buy One Get One 50% off (not free). I live in KY for reference to what region/area I am in.
My ad does show Buy One Get One Free (Oklahoma) so I added a note that this offer might be regional. Thanks, Allie!
I’m a frequent shopper at Walgreens so much that all of the managers know me…and not for a good reason. There is ALWAYS something wrong. I mean like always. I told them Thursday I wouldn’t do any more online/curbside orders because the inventory NEVER matches and I cant get the points when my total is enough and then the coupons have already been applied…it’s a headache for both of us. They all say that this new system has been difficult for all stores.

Yes I understand and totally sympathize. You are right. However I am so very grateful that Walgreens is trying to respond to customers who can’t go into the store. It has made my life much easier and safer. After thirty years of a love-hate relationship with Walgreens I’ve found writing a long letter to corporate telling them all the ways I love them but all the ways they need to shape up to deserve me very cathartic and I’d like to think at least resulting in some improvement. I highly recommend that. Also try an online chat to receive balance reward points to replace the digital coupons. I’ve had excellent luck with that although it might not always work. These times test us all.
Kelly, I agree with the online/curbside order. I just had my order adjusted because they didn’t have one of the items that I ordered. Because of that, I missed out on $10 cash rewards. I didn’t pick up the order, so all of MQ’s disappeared. I had to chat to get my points back. All of the managers know me at the 4 Walgreens in my area due to good reasons. Each store seems to have a different policy, which makes it tough on the shoppers. They have so many new employees who don’t know the policy either. I always have to tell them how it works. It has been difficult shopping online due to several orders being cancelled. Hopefully they will get this together soon. Be safe y’all!

Try to call the store directly rather than just not picking it up if the deal goes wrong. Reward points that you have spent are returned automatically within 48 hours but usually same day after you call. If you don’t call and cancel the order it is held for a full 72 days before it returns to the shelf on top of that. Keep in mind that as far as manufacturer’s coupons Walgreens does not set the policy there entirely; the ultimate say goes to the manufacturer. When returning an item in the store there’s never been a way to get a digital coupon back it has always been a return in the form of balance reward points that I’m aware of. I’ve done it many times in store and had to ask for a manager to do it each time. Many times you do have to educate even managers on the process. Also 3 or 4 years ago Walgreens drastically reduced the inventory they carried for a sort of “just in time” method where they only had 2 of an item when they used to have 10 on a shelf. I think it worked fine in a pre Covid era not so much now. Nevertheless it is Walgreens problem not the consume’s to figure it out.

72 hours not days!!!!!😂😂
I did not get back the $2 RR for the Crest toothpaste 🙁
You may want to call Walgreens customer service and see if they can issue it to you.

If Walgreens customer service doesn’t give you MyWalgreens cash in its place don’t worry at all.
Call 1-888-8COUPON and speak to the Catalina Marketing folks that administer these rewards on behalf of the manufacturers. It’s painless. You will need the receipt handy. If you don’t have the paper receipt look it up in your account.
Tip: if doing in store/ in person and you are expecting RRs ask first thing: is the printer on, loaded with paper and ink? Every register in the store may not even have a printer.
This might be a dumb question, but if I RR expires on the 17th, can you use it on the 17th?

It’s a natural question. A register reward is a coupon most generally from a manufacturer. I think this rule probably would apply and it is copied straight from Walgreens help page.
Walgreens does not accept expired coupons. Coupons expire at 11:59 p.m. on the expiration date at the point of sale, whether in store or online.
Meaning at 11:59 p.m. on the 17th
I will say that with digitals I’ve been in discussions with managers about when a digital expires when it hasn’t come off so it’s useful to print out or bookmark online Walgreens coupon policy. I’ve used RRs many times on the date of expiration without issues but stores are all different.
That’s a great question! Yes, you can use it on the day it expires.
So if a deal has register rewards, not the points, and you order online for curbside pickup, will you get your register rewards? I have beem doing a lot of curbside orders lately and they have brought some coupons out with the orders, but they weren’t register rewards. Anyone know? Also if you use points, will you still get register rewards? TIA!!
If you do in-store pick up, the RR’s do print. They will staple them to your receipt.

Check your online store ad to see which deals will give you register rewards. Not everything will. Yes if it’s a true register reward deal
you can use MyWalgreens cash to pay for it and still get the register rewards. Read the register reward itself carefully. It will say something like “Courtesy of P&G” so do not turn around and use it in any deal where you expect to get RRs on another P&G product. If you had a deal where you would get RRS on say a Colgate-Palmolive than yes you could use a RR from P&G to pay for it—it’s called “rolling RR’s”. RRs for the most part but not always are rewards from the manufacturer not Walgreens. MyWalgreens cash is strictly a Walgreens program. To learn more about the differences go to Walgreens.com/help and click on the coupons topics
I can’t find the Ajax laundry detergent deal. Any advice? Thanks!
I’m not seeing it online. You’ll probably have to pick it up in your local store.
The Carefree thong liners aren’t included in the BOBO1/2 offer according to the website. Others are though.
Thanks so much for the heads up, Pam! That has been updated.
no more emergen-c coupons
Darn! It does seem that the printable coupon is one but I do still find the digital option available when searching “Emergen C” over here. Hope that helps!

It was in the Jan 3 Retailmenot newspaper insert. If you do Facebook or NextDoor just ask if anyone has it and is not using it.
