Candy Testers Needed! Apply to Earn $30/Hour Sampling Candy at Home
One candy company has a very sweet job opportunity for you! 🍫🍭🍬
If your childhood dream job was a career that allowed you to sit around and eat candy all day, then we’ve got news that could make your childhood dreams come true! Candy Funhouse, a Canadian company based in Mississauga, Ontario, is hiring part-time and full-time “Candyologists” to help them create a new line of candy.
The Candyologists will serve as chocolate and candy taste testers throughout the development of Candy Funhouse’s first candy line of its own. The new in-house product line will ultimately feature 10 candies after the company’s lucky Candyologists sample hundreds of options and select the best.
While this might sound like a Willy Wonka-style contest, this is an actual job opening that multiple people will be hired to fill. It pays well too – full-time Candyologists earn a whopping $30/hour. The full-time position does require that you report to work in Mississauga, Ontario, but the part-time position allows you to have the samples shipped to your home!
According to the job listing, “Candidates should have enthusiasm and eagerness to try confectionery products. We are looking for honest and objective opinions on the products that will be taste-tested.” Does that sound like a good fit for you? If so, head on over here to read the rest of the job requirements. You have until February 15 to submit your application. Good luck!
I’ve been training my whole life for this! LOL!
Hahahahaha!!!! I literally thought to myself here we go this what we’ve been waiting for 😂
Dream Job- keep dreaming. When you select to apply it takes you to a totally blank white page!!!😡
The applications actually came up for me. Several full time and part time available. I need to update my resume….lol.
I was able to submit my applications
This has my name written all over it. Yes! I’m in! Lol
Oh yes!!
Can one use yourself as personal reference 🤣
Maybe we can attach weight records along with store receipts of purchased candy. 😅😅😅😅
Kind of off subject but has anyone taken an online TEFL certification class?
I wish I could get something like this from home. Being an agoraphobic it’s my only option but I never qualify 🙁
Hi Tricia! I said a prayer for you- for meaningful work…and so much more. I hope that God blesses you! Love, Lynn❤
Thank you, that’s very sweet of you. God bless you and your family 😀
I hope that it gets better for you!!!!!
Thank you 🙂
Tricia look into working for Lionbridge. They are out of Scotland or Ireland but hire all over the world. I have a few friends that work for them.
Tricia, check out Rat Race Rebellion. They have lots of work from home jobs. There are lots of jobs that don’t require a degree and everything on their site has been checked out so they are legit jobs.
Is this legit? What is the catch?
If you have food allergies you don’t qualify☹️
I was super sad about that too. I have crazy knowledge of candy, shelf life, proper storage, when to get the best deal and of course extensive taste testing experience.
I grew up in Mississauga, Ontario.
I’d like to hear from someone who does this job. Legit?
Let’s be real here is $26 an hour worth the risk of type 2 diabetes or other health risks?
I think most eat candy and pay for it ..so.yeah lol. They’re only hiring 5-10 people for what I read for the PT position. Super easy to fill.
Yes your right we all do eat candy I love candy but I consume small portions here and there if eating candy is going to be a hourly job the question is how much candy do you have to consume?
Probably a couple of pieces per “style” at best. You’re likely not going to eat candy for a whole hour, but after eating it, they’ll most likely have a questionnaire or video chat for you to complete. 🤷🏼♀️
I currently do some work as a trained professional food taster but my hours have been cut. I have applied as this would be a complimentary part time opportunity in my current field. Thanks so much for sharing.
You’re so welcome!
I’ve been seeing this everywhere! I thought it must be scam LOL. I dug a little and they seem legit but who knows. I think I’ll apply. It’s like the lotto, you never know.
Well I’m already working as a freelance copywriter so I guess this would fit in with my existing experience! How funny.
I’m ready! Send the candy on…
Are you sure those pay rates are in USD? This is a Canadian company. If the listed rates are in Canadian dollars, then the USD equivalents would be about $20.30 and $23.42. Also, both listings on Indeed show $30/hour.
If this is real life, I’ve got a 7yo & 10yo that need to start earning their keep around here.
I love candy any kind!Would love to check this out and work from home!
ok
I love candy but I feel something suspicious going on what if I get poisoned
