If I use Walgreens Rewards that I’ve already accumulated, will I still get the $3 Walgreens Rewards from buying 2 Head and Shoulders?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yes! That should work for you on this deal.

  2. Renee

I don’t see the $3 WG Reward for buying 2 shampoos in ad. ?? Is it unannounced?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Renee! I don’t find any official store details on that offer. You could call in to your location to be sure. I do see it listed online when clicking through the link above to the product pages. Hope this helps!

      • Renee

Interesting enough, I checked website for H&S and found that only $5.29 shampoos (only two of them) are not BOGO50% but qualified for $3 WG Cash. The rest of shampoos/cond are BOGO50% but are not qualified for $3 WG Cash.

Hey Renee, when you go through this link – everything on that page is included in the Buy 2, get $3 Walgreens Cash. You can see that in the header on that page, but you’ll have to click through the individual item to see the WC offer for each.
They can only do two lines of text for the offers on this promo page, so you’ll see the BOGO 50% and the $3 coupon on the items. Click on any of those and you’ll see the $3 offer on the product page too.

My store charged $7.29 per bottle, took off the $3 coupon but didn’t give me the $3 Walgreens cash. Had to talk to a manager and even when I showed him on my phone that it was $5.99 per bottle at that location, still wouldn’t budge on the price but did give me the Walgreen’s cash when he entered it in manually.

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh wow, I’m sorry you had that experience. Next time you could try ordering online for store pick-up, then you know you’ll be getting the right price and the rewards!

    • Sri

This happend to me too. Didn’t get $3 W Cash.

  4. Courtney

Nope no WG cash for me either but still a good price!

I don’t understand walgreens policy regarding the rewards. The little icon on the pay with rewards area said that you can pay with rewards and earn rewards but on the check out screen it shows this
Estimated rewards earned on this order:$3.08
Any portion of your order paid for with Walgreens Cash rewards is not eligible to earn Walgreens Cash rewards. Total rewards earned will be posted to your myWalgreens account within 48 hours of the time your order ships.
Feeling like they are deliberately “pulling one over” on people

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Their rewards are definitely confusing. It’s always worked that if it’s a set amount of items, you can use and earn rewards. So if it says buy 2, get $3 Walgreens Cash. You can use Walgreens cash and earn Walgreens cash.

However, if it’s a spend amount to earn, you can’t use and earn at the same time. Like if it is Spend $20, get $5 Walgreens Cash, you would NOT want to pay with Walgreens Cash. Their system applies it like store savings so your $20 spent looks like you only spent $15 and will not give you the reward. I hope that makes sense.

        Thank you
