I know it’s a dead deal now. I shave it with a vegetable peeler and put it my pots to keep the squirrels from digging in them. Did this last year for the first time and it worked great!

I got it, thank you! Can you please help me understand whether the savings are valid if the first shipment doesn’t happen for a couple of weeks? Am I “locking in” today’s discount price and coupon even though there is a statement on the S&S registration that says, “The price of your subscription may change based on the price of the item(s) in your order at the time the order is processed.” Does that mean the price today may not be the same when the item ships or will it be honored since I set it up today? Thank you!
In my experience (I order a lot from Amazon including S&S) it varies. Oftentimes the deal price stands until your specified delivery, but sometimes they take it away and try to charge you a higher price even for the first delivery. I have had it happen many times. Your best bet is to check all items the day before or the day of to see what they have decided to charge. I have found no rhyme or reason to which items they do this to, but I have been burned from not checking and foolishly assuming that the first delivery would be at the price I was invoiced for.
Yes I am aware that subsequent deliveries vary. I am only offering my experience with the 1st/initial delivery of S&S orders.
Thanks for your reply Renee! Since they usually ask you to review and update/change your order 9-10 days before your S&S ship date, what do you do if they change the price at the last minute (a day or two before shipping) when you can no longer cancel an item?
