Mulch is much cheaper to buy in a trailer or truck load. $18 at 5 different locations within 30 min of my house.

$20 by me, that’s what I always do. But if you don’t have a truck then this is a great deal!

Since I have small back and front yards, I like that I can drag a bag just where I need it, slit lengthwise, then dump it out easily. Same with the bags of garden soil. No need to shovel loose product into a wheelbarrow.

True. But we don’t own a truck or have anyone to borrow one from. Delivery makes it expensive. I’ve been trying to not mulch as much-I’m trying to plant ground cover & perennials where I can.

What is a trailer truck load ?

Ad says mulch not available anywhere in Georgia 😡

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      DARN! Sorry to hear that.

Go find a local nursery for your plants. They are cheaper and perform way better than Bonnie plants.

I’ve always gotten my mulch at Lowe’s during these sales and have no issue with it. I don’t have a location near me to buy mass quantities of mulch, and a truck load would be too much for my needs anyway.

You can always check with your local county etc. the tree trimmers around here are constantly looking for places to dump loads. Usually for free especially if you get multiple loads!!!

Also Home Depot began their sale on Thursday. Mulch is same price but plants and soil are cheaper.
