I used the 20% off coupon SPRING20. Last time the coupon ate away my Walgreens Cash so I made sure it wouldn’t happen again by adding a few more deals to my order. I added 4 Tide @ $14.97 to pad the P&G deal. I added 2 of the Whole Blends shampoo to pad the hair deal. I also had a special $4 Walgreens Cash wys $18. My total was $43.90 including tax and I should receive $29 in Walgreens Cash. SO $14.90 for 4 Tide, 7 shampoo/conditioner and the razor with 12 blades. Pretty good?

After coupons the herbal essences and pantene equal under $20 so do you still get walgreens cash? I’ve been told the total has to be after coupons and I’ve lost a lot of walgreens cash because of this.
As long as your total is over $20 before manufacturer’s coupons, you should definitely get the Walgreens Cash.
Keep in mind that Walgreens Cash rewards will not be earned on the portion of a transaction that was paid for using Walgreens Cash rewards or store credit so make sure NOT to use WC if you expect to earn WC when the deal says something like these above — spend $20, get $5 WC. It’s okay to use them on deals that say to buy a specific quantity like buy 2, get $5 WC.
ok TY. I’ve tried talking to live chat so many times about not getting WC and they keep telling me over and over the total is after coupons which is frustrating. I did know not to pay with WC. Did you happen to do this deal online —it doesn’t give me free shipping either and I have those exact items. I’m sorta throwing a bunch of stuff in to see what I can come up with now. Bunch of deals –it’s just a matter of piecing stuff together and for me–hoping I actually get the WC lol.
I have had my WC not credited when I used MC too. I had ordered online. Their policy does say after coupons for the total so, unfortunately, I think they are implementing this. Maybe it just hasn’t hit all stores yet.
My email said estimated WC $25, I received $15 after the order shipped. I believe it’s the 20% off code that messed up this deal.

That’s great I’m going to try to put together one with Olay tonight. Just one question. What is scented eyeshadow?
no clue—LOL—but the colors looked really good in the palettes –lots of colors to choose. Kinda weird they are scented –not like I’m going to eat eyeshadow or sniff my eyelids LOL. Even with all that they tried to screw me out of $5 WC –usually they give me a hard time but I think they were too busy because I was like number 40 something in the live chat waiting thing. If they would just tell u CORRECTLY the amount of WC you are getting it back it would probably save them a lot of money vs. taking up all the time of people writing them about it. I don’t understand the problem with that—they know the total —it make no sense to me. I had like 5 X $10 off different olay products (the expensive ones). I wish I could figure out a scenario for the body wash though to use all the other olay coupons. It might work before coupons in certain states but when this site posts a scenario it does NOT work for me. It HAS to be after coupons or I just don’t get WC and I know I said it before because when u do chat –they say “it’s just an estimate and has to be AFTER all coupons”—so just be careful
LOL on the smelly eyeshadow. It made me think of scratch and sniff stickers and then scratching out eyes, but that’s just me. TBH I usually consider myself clever but haven’t 100% figured out the Walgreens savings rules. I got burned on the WC a few weeks ago and had an awful experience on the customer service chat, so I made it my mission to figure it all out. In my experience the manufacturer coupons or the online “clip” coupons don’t reduce the WC amount but the site wide coupons X% off $X do affect the WC thresholds. That is why I add an extra item(s) to cover the difference for each WC offer I was expecting. It worked this time. And yes, I got the BUT-that-is-JUST-an-estimate line and I think that is just wrong.

You are correct. When you have a cash threshold or “spend” deal the only things that count towards meeting it are your actual OOP costs and manufacturer’s coupons which are reimbursed to WAGS and go in their bank account. Do not count Walgreens coupons, % off, paying with WC, store credit, Walgreens gift cards because technically you didn’t spend them Walgreens gave them to you and none of those things go into Walgreens bank account—they go out. Just did this deal and had no problems. I know some said the $6 coupon is gone but when I checked my account I found it. Also had a $5 off $20 coupon so my Walgreens cash back was like $30, yay for me!
