I love the hard sided lunchpail. They have lasted years for my kids (and kept their lunch from being crushed)!! My son has used his for 4 years and there are no tears in it. I’ve even thrown my daughters in the clothes washer to clean and it’s held up for 3 years!!!
That sounds fantastic! Thank you so much! It’s super helpful to the Hip community, k6loves!
We have had a good experience, too. My son has used his for almost four years. It’s still in very good condition. I wash it in the washing machine as needed. The only issue came recently. Some of the inner lining on the back of the lunchbox seems to have ripped after going through the washing machine. The lining now bunches up a bit oddly. The lunchbox is still usable, but I have been waiting for a deal to replace it.
These backpacks are the bomb-diggity! My kids have only ever used these and we’ve even used the lifetime guarantee once. My 6th and 8th graders now use the classmate extra large backpacks and they easily fit a chromebook plus a 3″ binder plus another 1″ band binder plus a lunch bento box & water bottle plus sweatshirt plus a few small personal items. It’s a full backpack, don’t get me wrong, but they get it all in there. This deal every spring is the best time to get into this line of backpack if you don’t already have them!
What size would be best for a second grader? Any ideas? Thanks
My kids used the large in second grade. It’s almost the same as the extra large though so you might as well just get that size now. Your kiddo will grow into it and if it gets shabby in a couple of years, you can take advantage of that lifetime guarantee and be in the right size for a middle schooler.
Thanks so much!
Thanks for your helpful response, carol!
My 3rd grader using Medium since 2nd grade.
My son has a medium and it’s been perfect for K and 1st. He will be in second next year and we’ll probably keep the medium since we have it and it’s still in good condition, but if I were buying new fora second grader, I’d go ahead and get a large.
Do these lunch pails fit a bento box in it??
Went for the lunchboxes and ordered myself two bathing suits instead. lol
