Does anybody know if you still get register rewards for pick up orders placed on say Saturday and picked up on say Monday. Like are register rewards tied to order date or pick up date? What about cash rewards? Do u have to pick up the order the same week to get the cash rewards? Also is there a limit of 1? Like can I get 2$ 5 register rewards if I buy 6 crest toothpaste and does it have to be separate transactions?
Rita, you will definitely have to do separate transactions in order to get your register rewards on the Crest deal. Unfortunately, on orders placed on Saturday and picked up Sunday or later, you will not get your register rewards. ( At least that has been my own personal experience. If someone else has a way to do this, please share!) I have had success receiving cash rewards when placing an order on Saturday and picking up on Sunday. Just be careful what time you place your order, because I have had prices change right in my cart, if I can’t get by order completed on time. If you decide to do this, try to get your transaction completed before your local stores closes. Sometimes, I have been able to complete my transaction before 12:00 and 12:59 AM EST and still get my cash rewards, but sometimes the prices do change and the rewards disappear. Walgreens corporate offices are in the Chicago suburbs, so they are in the Central time zone. I think that is why I have sometimes had success as long as I can get it totally completed that late. (Not advising you to wait that long, because sometimes YMMV.) HTH

I’m in Central time and I can definitely tell you the ad switches over later than Central. If I had to guess and it would be a guess only I would say Pacific time because that’s when the coupons expire. But again just a guess.

Points to remember: in a store pickup the transaction is not really completed until you pull up in a parking spot and let them know that you are there. Only than is it rung up on the actual cash register connected to the printer and your RRS are printed. Until than it is only a hold and not a transaction. RRs are almost always manufacturer’s coupons run by Catalina Marketing on behalf of the manufacturer and not run by Walgreens. If the offer from the manufacturer has expired Walgreens may help you out but they don’t have to. You could get it all worked out with Walgreens or you could have a mess. If you have a deal that involves only Walgreens cash your chances are better because that is just Walgreens and doesn’t involve the manufacturer.
Thanks for your reply. I placed an order once on a Saturday night before midnight around 10 pm ( I am on Eastern time) and when picked up on Monday the prices were different and I did not get my reward and even the coupon that was valid through Saturday did not go through . Probably because my store was closed when I placed an order and on Sunday when they got to my order the promo was no longer good. I would also suggest not to fool around with late Saturday orders if not able to pick up that same day. It’s a shame because my closest Walgreens is 20 min away and I only stop there while running other errands on my only day off
-Monday. But the best deals don’t get posted till the end of the week.
Rita, check your email as they would have emailed you a receipt for your transaction and contact the their customer service number. If you have your order number, they should be able to look it up and make any necessary adjustments for you. You can also check your account because your receipt should be there as well. I also save a copy of my online receipt, just in case. If none of those work for you, then you may want to give them a call anyway, because they might be able to look you up if you give them an idea as to what you purchased and what you were expecting to receive. If you can’t find it in your account than try looking through your emails from Walgreens if you have enabled emails, than you just click on the “get coupon” in the email. If you use the app go to the ad and click on it and it should clip to your card. The last possibility is to pull up the ad in the store and have them scan the bar code in the ad. “Present coupon in the store, or clip” is the language in fine print on the ad. No, if you look at the actual ad it uses the word spend as opposed to buy. Walgreens counts as “spent” your actual OOP dollars plus manufacturer’s (not Walgreens) coupons because those are reimbursed to Walgreens on your behalf. Anything else used subtracts what Walgreens views that you have spent. If you want to both earn and redeem rewards in the same transaction look in the ad for items that specify that you “buy” a certain number of an item. To recap: deals at Walgreens are either buy or spend deals as specified in the ad; spend deals don’t redeem rewards; buy deals you can both earn and redeem rewards in the same transaction.
