Whether you’re needing a laptop or tablet, this Microsoft Surface Pro does both jobs! It includes the black type cover that allows you to use it as a laptop with keyboard, or remove the cover and carry it around as a tablet. It’s extremely lightweight and offers all day battery life. The 1080p camera allows you to be seen clearly in photos or video calls and both the cameras and microphones will automatically adjust whether you’re inside or outside!

This is the second Microsoft Surface Tablet that I have bought from Best Buy. The first was a Surface 4 that lasted through five years of heavy daily usage. It performed flawlessly and I never had to bring it in for the Geek Squad to deal with an issue. My new tablet is the Microsoft Surface 7. So far, I have not had any issues with it and I expect that it will be as reliable as my old Surface 4 had been.

 

Outwardly, the two units are twins of each other. Internally, there are some changes with the CPU. If you didn’t know any better you couldn’t tell one from the other. Their performance is on par with other superior tablets. With the exception of changes to various software programs and web sites the good thing about this tablet is that you know you are getting a reliable workhorse that will do what you want it to do.

Fantastic little laptop – Great screen, great keyboard, great trackpad, excellent build quality and super sleek design, thin and light, fast, and just a joy to use. I’ve been a Surface user for a while now, and the Surface Laptop Go might be my favorite so far. It works for everything I need it for – the 10th gen Core i5, with 8g RAM provides plenty of oomph for every days tasks – for me it’s browsing, video streaming, music streaming, productivity, casual games, and remoting to my work laptop. And it’s fun and easy for doing all of those things. I love the 3:2 aspect ratio, which is great for browsing and productivity, and I don’t mind the top and bottom bars when watching movies.

This aspect ratio makes the screen feel bigger than the 12.4″ size. And the keyboard and trackpad are a dream to use. The sound quality is loud and clear, with good detail, but lacking bass (which can be compensated with equalizer in music app). The finger print reader works really well – fast and accurate. Finally, I could use a backlit keyboard in some situation (and Laptop Go does not have it), but mostly I don’t miss not having it.
