Love the funny fake math that now goes on to try and convince people that they are getting a bargain when they are really getting ripped off. Paper towels used to be 11” x 11” square and 60+ sheets to a roll – now we count half and quarter sheet and tell people they are getting twice as much as before when they are really just getting the same amount but are being charged more. It’s really frustrating when you call it out as a “deal” when it really isn’t.
I hear ya on the frustration about the double/triple/mega labeling. They’re constantly changing so you can’t hardly keep up with what is and isn’t a good deal.
I can say on this one that this is the lowest price this paper towel pack has been since November, 2019 so that’s a nice bonus. The same pack is $29.89 at Walmart, when in stock. It’s a total of 430.2 sq. ft which works out to 5¢ per sq. ft. which is a pretty solid deal given name brand.
I’ve switched to Amazon Presto brand paper towels. They are high quality without the high price!
