“There are so many ways I can think of how Collin and Hip2Save have touched my life. I have been a long, long-time Hip2Save reader since way back when I was a young mom to two and living on a very limited income while going to school. Hip2Save helped me find deals so I could save on everything from household necessities, back to school stuff for my kids, and Christmas and birthday gifts that I wouldn’t have otherwise been able to afford.

This year was a tough one, I lost my grandmother (my last living grandparent and the one I was most close to). “My hubby got sick a few years ago. He had a heart attack and had to retire early. We had NO income while waiting on Social Security. He was 57. In the meantime, our oldest daughter and her husband moved in with us because she was pregnant with her 2nd child and she was very sick. Her hubby worked out of town so I cared for her and the 2-year-old. I had seen those TV shows about extreme couponing, so I began to scour the internet. That’s when I ran across HIP2SAVE! I was able to feed my entire family as I learned how to get free stuff while lugging that big binder all over Target! My favorite haul was $82.00 worth of product for $12.00!!

“I first heard about Hip2save way back when my youngest, Emma, was small. H2S used to share the VERY best American Girl deals and my mom and I followed religiously. I thought Collin was just the cutest, most upbeat person ever. Fast forward to November of 2016. My job (that I loved!) was taking all of their marketing in-house and was too far for me to commute to with my family obligations. I was heartbroken.
One of my friends wanted to cheer me up, so she took me out to lunch at a Chinese restaurant. Imagine my surprise when my fortune cookie said “A Solid Challenge Will Bring Forth Your Finest Abilities”. The very next day I came across an ad in one of my Facebook groups. Hip2Save was HIRING! WOOT! I called my mom, told my husband, then got my resume ready. Collin contacted me and we had a phone call. I was thinking the whole time what a great person she was and I was so hopeful that I’d be hired. On December 12th, Collin called me and offered me the job. I was ecstatic!
I started work in January 2017 and have loved every minute (Well, Q4 is a LITTLE crazy, but I love a challenge!) Hip2Save truly is the BEST place to work. Our team is AMAZING. Even though we work remotely, we communicate constantly. I feel like I work with family, we’re that close!

“My first introduction to Collin happened when I was employed with an affiliate management agency. An essential oil brand I represented had a new constipation-relief essential oil coming out called PoopEase, and we were gearing up for different advertising campaigns. One day, I received an email from a Hip2Save rep, exhibiting admiration for our fun new product. She notified me of an April Fools prank for their site, and how it played into Collin’s love for the Poo Emoji. Thus, our brand and Hip2Save ran a hilarious campaign together around PoopEase.
Fast forward two years, and I now find myself with the same company that showed interest in PoopEase. Part of the reason I elected to join the Hip2Save team was the fun company culture that was self-evident, even to me as an outsider from a separate organization.
