I don’t think anyone is going to trade you a giftcard for the same amount as your kohls cash. Giftcards work like cash, but kohls cash doesn’t. For example, if you were buying something for $25 and had a 20% off coupon, the coupon would only apply after the kohls cash, ($25 – $20 kohls cash = 5 *.8 = $4), but in your case they would have spent $20 on the kohls cash and would only end up saving $1 on their order rather than $5 if they didn’t use kohls cash.
I would suggest asking for $10 in Giftcards for your kohls cash, just a friendly suggestion that would benefit both parties 🙂
