I think the people selling these on Amazon are trying to scam people by charging more for a product that is primarily only sold at dollar tree. It also doesnt seem like a high end or even drug store product.

Agree. I never purchase these products. They are made in China (although some have said their soaps are made in the USA), and anything that will be absorbed into my skin will come from a country that has stricter regulations.

I’m unsure how selling these items is different than selling anything else. Most businesses buy items cheap from China and then re-sell them…do you shop at Walmart? Why can’t an individual make some money instead of the Waltons?

I don’t think people are scamming for reselling. I used to buy designer goods during sales and sell them on auction sites. I would look for rare and desired items. No different than anyone reselling anything if someone wants to buy it. Personally I am not interested in skincare products from dollar tree though someone else might like them.

Something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it, it doesn’t matter what the actual cost is. Reselling is not scamming.

I bought the detoxifying hand cream at my $Tree, and I’m very disappointed with it. It’s think and does nothing for my skin – it doesn’t soften and it doesn’t seem to detox. Save your money.
