Tide is Offering Free Laundry Services to Front Line Responders in Select Cities

Tide wants to help lighten the load for first responders!

Tide is deploying its “Loads of Hope” program in select metro areas with the mission of providing free laundry and dry cleaning services to the immediate family members of front line responders who are helping to fight the coronavirus.

This includes paramedics, doctors, nurses, hospital/medical staff, medical researchers, police officers, and firefighters.

This offer is currently available in select cities through May 9th, although the duration of this offer will be re-evaluated and possibly extended.

Check this page for the most up-to-date list of participating locations and if your city isn’t available yet, keep checking back! Other metro areas are being assessed for inclusion in the program, and may be added in the near future.

For qualifying families, Tide Cleaners will accept four 13-gallon garbage bags (or the equivalent) per week. Only household items will be accepted for dry cleaning and laundry services; garments or linens that are used in the field for hospitals or fire stations cannot be accepted.

The current turnaround time for clean laundry is about two days, and many locations offer limited-contact services such as 24-hour drop boxes, home delivery, drive-throughs, and carside valet.
