This White Claw Drink Recipe Makes the Best Slushies for Summer!
Turn White Claw drinks into slushies for a yummy (and boozy!) way to cool off.
We’re crushing summer with these White Claw slushies!🍹
As if White Claw Hard Seltzers could become any more popular, innovative TikTok trends have proven that this basic alcoholic beverage is only the beginning of amazing possibilities.
If you haven’t already tried the viral White Claw slushies, there’s still time to finish summer strong!
White Claw makes a hard seltzer alcoholic beverage that first hit the scene back in 2016. They quickly gained popularity thanks to their keto-friendly ingredients and low-calorie count, not to mention their refreshing fruity flavors.
Since then, White Claw has released additional flavors, higher ABV options, fruitier infusions, and more fun options!
Wondering how to make alcoholic slushies with White Claw drinks?
When we originally saw a recipe for White Claw seltzer slushies on the now defunct chowhound.com, it called for ice, fresh or frozen fruit, White Claw, and a blender. Essentially, that’s all you really need to make these delicious and refreshing drinks.
As much as we love fresh fruit, we think frozen fruit works best for these recipes. Plus, with so many different flavors available, the White Claw drink options are endless.
In most cases, the White Claw alcohol percentage by volume is 5%. If you’d like a little extra kick, you could even add an additional shot of your favorite liquor. In this case, we recommend Tito’s Vodka, but we didn’t use it in our original recipe concoctions.
Here are a few delicious White Claw drink ideas:
Black Cherry Berry Slushie
Use the Black Cherry White Claw and add frozen raspberries, frozen blackberries, and a couple of ice cubes. Top with mint if desired.
Strawberry Mango Slushie
Use Mango White Claw, frozen strawberries, and a couple of ice cubes. For extra fun, add a sugar rim with a strawberry garnish if desired.
Coconut Lime Slushie
Use the Lime White Claw, coconut cream, frozen pineapple, and a couple of ice cubes. Top with shredded coconut and a lime wedge if desired.
We know your mouth is watering, so here’s how to make your own White Claw slushie!

Making one of these White Claw drinks? Make sure to avoid liquid explosions!
Some people have reported liquid explosions during the making of these fun White Claw alcohol slushies. To avoid such a mess, try making these cocktails with just half a can of White Claw (to start) and add more as needed to avoid any catastrophes.
One reader even mentioned blending the fruit ingredients first without the White Claw and then blending them together quickly after. Definitely worth a shot to avoid the mess!
If you’re looking for easy cocktails to make at home for your next summer soirée, these refreshing White Claw slushies are one hot trend that is here to stay!
Cheers!

those look yummy. going to make these. thanks for posting these great receipes. ๐
You’re very welcome, Annie! Hope you love it!
Hi there! You can add in an ounce of another alcohol such as vodka, however it is not needed. Hope this helps! Enjoy!
Awesome! Thank you ๐
You’re so welcome!
ooh its needed alright! ๐
Yum, I would add Tajin and chamoy on the rim instead.
Yummy idea! Thanks for the suggestion!
I’ve got a couple of grapefruit cans kicking around (everyone’s least favorite). Any ideas for what to do with those?!
That’s a great question, Joann! Our whole team had some answers:
– Try something with pomegranate and mint added โ I bet that would be delicious.
– This might even sound weird but a sweet, tart apple might also be good blended in.
– Grapefruit is great with something sweet so maybe even a cane sugar rim would be perfect, too!
– Here’s a good grapefruit one: https://hip2save.com/recipes/citrus-paloma-cocktail-summer-drink-series/
Get some cut grapefruit add it to that and blend it
Be careful doing these with a magic bullet or small blender.. The carbonation has caused my lid to pop a few times and it’s not a fun mess to clean up! Maybe do half a can at a time ๐
Thanks for the tip! It’s a great one, Evelyn!
I tried these and it tasted watered down. Maybe I added too much. I did use ice and frozen fruit, probably didnโt need the ice ๐ค
Then add some vodka
Weโve been making a variety of slushes using white claw, truely, mikes hard lemonade products, or wine. We add fresh or frozen fruit, perhaps some juice, and ice. We add vodka as well. Obviously not with the wine but sometimes do more of a frozen sangria thing with the wine.
Try High Noon. Theyโre made with vodka not malt liquor like the others so they work well with some extra vodka!
I’m so trying this! White Claw is my favorite. I love their new flavors. I love living in Texas, we get the stronger ones! ๐
So jealous!
I made mine in a Magic Bullet and it EXPLODED everywhere!
Any suggestions?
Hi Jen! Try starting with less White Claw or pause between blending to open the cap to release some pressure. You could also pour the White Claw into a glass and let it sit out overnight to have some of the carbonation released. I hope that helps!
Can you make it as a punch instead of a slushie
I bet you could! You could pour the White Claws into a punch bowl and throw in a bunch of frozen fruit to be scooped into the drink when serving. Keep in mind that on a hot summer day, this may warm up rather quickly, so you could wait to add in some frozen fruit before serving individually. A chilled ice bucket could work for storing the frozen fruit. Enjoy!
Blend the ingredients without the white claw, then add it in after you add to glass!! Less chance of mess!!
Social is SO much better than White Claw. Try it, it doesn’t disappoint. ๐
It’s organic, low sugar and no fake or bad stuff in it. It was started by a woman after her fight with cancer.
Nantucket Cranberry is really good too! But Im located in Mass might be just a local thing but you can grab them at Total Wine ๐
Thanks for sharing this suggestion, stacy! ๐ค Glad you’ve found a yummy option near you to make these slushies with! ๐
