Please check your reward points balanace I had $64 in rewards only to find out that they were used across the country 2 days after they were posted to my account. I found out where they were used because there is a record of where the rewards are redeemed in your account. This came as a shock because I am the only one who has access to my account. However I just realized it because I was going to purchase this deal and went to check my reward balance.
Oh darn! SO very sorry to hear about that, Michelle! Thanks for the warning! I wonder if customer service may be able to help.
This is something to be on alert for. It has happened to me twice with Banana Rewards. I just try to use mine quickly. Banana replaced them both times but it was a hassle.
Happened to me with Kohl’s too. Thankfully they gave me my rewards too. I’m not sure how this can happen.
Wanted to chime in McDonald accounts are notorious for being hacked and orders placed in other states. Always delete cards on file. I was charged 50 dollars of food, luckily my bank was able to reverse the charges.
Yes they were able to help me today! They will be reissuing my rewards, the customer service rep was helpful and said that they have had an increase rewards disappearing.
That is awesome news! I am so glad they were able to help reinstate those rewards!
Keep checking your Account for your replaced Reward Points. Mine were used after being replaced twice! Just a hint: Thursdays are the day they replace Reward Points. I did doubt this piece of info, but sure enough, Thursday is the day!
I can’t remember,…. can we earn rewards if we pay with rewards here? TIA
You earn only what you pay out of pocket, so if you have a $10 reward, you’d only earn $6.99 in rewards.
I was once told that I could use my Reward Points to pay for Duracell and I would still earn the “new” Reward Points. Naturally, I did NOT receive the “new” Reward Points.
I called Customer Service who told me that this is in the info about Reward Points and she apologized for getting incorrect information. She gave me a 15% Coupon for any purchase; other than the usual standard items not allowed!
I have everything in my cart (AA, AAA) and am logged into to my rewards accounts. I do not see potential rewards coming, so I am hesitant to pull the trigger for my pick up order. Any help appreciated. Thanks~
Margaret, unlike other sites, Office Depot doesn’t show potential rewards in their checkout process. You’ll only see the 100% rewards back on the product pages. They usually reward these super-fast so if you don’t see those points hit your account within a couple days after ordering, you can always return the batteries or chat with customer service about getting them added. I’ve never had an issue with getting points from Office Depot.
Great info, thanks Stacy. I placed my order.
