Is this better/worse than cascade? What do you guys think?
for a while, i was trying out all the different brands of dishwasher soaps – liquid, powder, and tabs. I always kept coming back to Finish because it is the one i thought worked REALLY better than the others.
i found it was the only one that left no particles of food, and my dishes are never cloudy, and i DON’T pre-rinse (i do scrape off big chunks first), and i have found that Finish leaves the inside of my dishwasher clean, without any residue or buildup that requires any special cleaning cycles or use of vinegar to clean out.
i don’t have any better or worse experience with any of the different Finish tabs, i have thought they all work equally well. i break the tab in half, because it is that powerful. even if the special red ball thing is only in half of my loads, it doesn’t seem to make a difference.
with other soaps, my dishwasher would regularly get a buildup of scummy stuff and cloudy stuff inside on the bottom and walls of it, and i needed to clean it, but Finish hasn’t caused that.
because of a move, i have tried it with soft water and with hard, and with an old dishwasher and a new one.
Finish ends up being way cheaper b/c i only need half as much, and i never need to buy those deep-clean treatments for the dishwasher itself. sorry if i sound like an ad — it’s just that i REALLY used to have dishes problems for a while. with other soaps, i often had weird black speckles stuck to finished loads.
Sad my price went up
Out of stock 🙁
