My favorite soil for seed starting and for gardening in containers. It drains well and stays moist, but not too moist. I mix it with Compost and sifted top soil for use in outdoor containers.
I’m comparing this against BX ProMix which is what the pros use. To me, the texture is even better and easier to use. It’s not as compressed as BX, but it does expand and is slightly moist which makes it easy to break apart. I add Osmocote for nutrients. It also has Mycorrhizae which is good for the plants.
