I had a Ridgid vac, it was LOUD! This one is much quieter, but it’s still like a Shop Vac, meaning louder than a quiet house vac. I like it has a “muffler” which is basically foam held at the outlet. That foam collects dust too, so there is less dust is blown out when using the wet vac feature with an inline wet dust drop bucket. Been using it for a couple of weeks for fine dust, all great so far. I also like the flat top for setting tools on.
This vacuum was a great purchase. It’s super strong and great for tons of applications. Car detailing, blowing dust away, even cleaning up spills on carpet. It’s a strong lightweight machine and worth every single penny. For the price, you honestly can’t get anything better than this. Would recommend buying 2, honestly, they’re that handy!
On Amazon the 12 & 16 are both on sale. Normally the same reg price, so the 16 is a better deal.
