I just got this dough blender yesterday, but as soon as I took it out of the box I knew it was the best one I’d ever had! This thing is mighty! It doesn’t have those wiggly jiggly blades like all the ones I’ve owned in the past. It is solid and stable. No need to limit its use to pie crust and shortbread. I’ll probably be able to mash potatoes with it!

Last night, I threw it in the dishwasher with a load of plates and pans from dinner (because I wash new utensils before using them the first time to remove any industrial stuff), and it emerged unscathed, with no water spots! I love the soft finish of the handle-feels fantastic, looks sweet! I got the blue one. I will probably get the green one soon, too, just because I like this thing so much. Great price! I’ve been in the restaurant industry for 20 years as a kitchen manager, GM, Food & Bev director, etc etc. At home, I prefer to use professional cookware and tools because it’s what I’m accustomed to, and this does not disappoint. The handle has a great grip that is formed to fit the hand with a sturdy hold, and the blades are much thicker than the typical pastry knife that you see in big box stores.

I’ve used this for pastry and it’s great, and also find myself reaching for it to do other things like incorporating flavorings into ground beef, cooking and breaking up the ground beef in the pan, and so on. One of my favorite new toys and I’m thrilled with the purchase.
