The stylish coffeemaker automatically adjusts brew speed and hotplate temperature depending on whether you are brewing a half-carafe or a full one. Additionally, the basket automatically stops the flow when your carafe is removed.
As an added bonus, the hotplate features an independent heating element that keeps your coffee at the perfect temperature for up to 100 minutes.

I had my doubts paying this much money for a drip coffee maker (vs espresso machine or nespresso) but my mind is blown. Good, strong coffee from a great looking machine. I followed the brew directions and had an amazing cup that kept me up all day. (I was up to 2-3 cups with my 14-year old Cuisinart) So glad I made the upgrade.
I’ve had my Moccamaster for over three years; it makes the BEST coffee! Love this company; their customer service and everything they do! Make sure to get the moccamaster filters and invest in a small frothier 🙂
This is not the Mokkamaster to get — the one that has a cult following is the one with the thermal carafe — coffee geeks don’t use warmer plates (those plates ruin coffee). The Mokkamaster with the thermal carafe is the closest machine-made can come to high-end pour-over brewing — it brews hotter, sprinkles it over the grounds slowly, and gets a top-of-the-line extraction. The machines last forever, and if something breaks, they fix it. I’ve had my Mokkamaster for over 10 years — best coffee maker I’ve ever had (and I will never, ever own a Keurig again –it’s not even the same universe of comparison as Keurigs make expensive swill, but you don’t know it’s swill until you use really good, freshly ground beans to make pour over to realize how poor the Keurig flavor profile really is). What people spend on those plastic pods could be spend on excellent single-origin, organic beans!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this coffee maker and further details about the brand you owna nd love, Maggie. ☕️❤️
