What We Read (and Loved!) in November – Our Top Book Picks!
Check out our team’s best 2025 book recommendations this month!

Our team loves diving into new reads! We’re sharing our favorite book recommendations right now, and there’s something to inspire every kind of literary adventure!
Here are our team’s top book recommendations for November:
1. Liz started a new series after hearing rave reviews on TikTok and said each book gets better and better.
The Plated Prisoner Series $39.94+ for all 6 books
“I started The Plated Prisoner Series this month. It’s a fantasy series that retells the story of King Midas from Greek mythology and follows Auren, a young woman who was transformed into gold and kept a prisoner.
There are 6 books in the series, and it is finished, so no worries about cliffhangers! I’m on book 4 now and loving it! I will say the first book, Gild, was super slow, like so slow that I almost quit reading, but I’d heard such rave reviews on TikTok about this series that I powered through, and I will say it was worth it. That first book gives you lots of backstory that you need to understand the next few books. I’ve still got two books to go, so I can’t say how I feel about the ending, but each book has gotten better and better! I highly recommend it for any fantasy readers!” – Liz
2. Alli said this book was worth the wait and is better than she anticipated.
The God of the Woods $16.74 (reg. $30)
“I have been waiting to read this one for a long time, and I truly enjoyed it! It’s a slower start, but once you get going, you’re in it and you just have to know what the heck happened!” – Alli
3. Alli has zero regrets reading this book and already can’t wait for the next one.

Conform $20.98+ (reg. $30)
“The only negative thing I have to say about this book is that I read it too soon. It’s a trilogy (this is the first book), and I don’t know when the next 2 will come out, and I CAN’T WAIT THAT LONG! It was sooooooo good! It’s a dystopian book that kind of feels like a Hunger Games-ish read, so a future version of humanity. I’m pretty sure this is her debut novel, and that’s hard to believe, too! So, so good!” – Alli

These posts are my favorite! I feel the same as Alli about Tomorrow x3. I’m not a gamer but loved this book and these characters so much❤️
Yay! 🎉 Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this book, BW! Happy to hear you loved it too!
I would have passed on Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow because of the video game stuff also if a friend didn’t strongly recommend it. It was so good, don’t skip on this one!
I did not like the Plated Prisoner series. It was soooo depressing. If something could go wrong, it did. I finished the series, but I also expected more at the ending. Lots of people love it though!
❤️ Love the book posts! Reading has always been a relaxing activity for me. Along with all the screens and social media growth, I felt it was being looked at as my “grandma” type hobby. Reading is for the smart, sassy, loving, independent, fierce women….and also, men who ready are s**y in my book 😉
Men who READ…lol see even autocorrect needs to read better these days 😂
