My sisters and I used to have a set of these when we were kids. We loved them. It was even better because all of us could have our OWN color bowl. No fighting!!! That’s a definite plus.

Now, with kids of my own, I had to do a quick search for them again. I’m happy to say that my kids are just as thrilled. As a parent, I love that the bowl LOOKS big, but has a smaller interior dish. So, even though it LOOKS like they’re getting a full bowl of ice cream, the bowl portion holds one large scoop with toppings. One scoop is PLENTY for the littles. So it’s a win-win!

These things are also built for abuse. They’ve been dropped. Thrown. Left outside. You name it, they’ve handled it. We have yet to have one crack or break.

The only downside, if I had to find something, would be the spoons. They’re deep so it makes for somewhat uncomfortable eating. However, from a parent’s perspective – this is great because whatever goes into the spoon STAYS there and isn’t sliding off the edges like a regular spoon because these have more of a lip than a regular spoon.
