Looking for a smart way to dust around the house?! 🧽

Consider grabbing a Scrub Daddy Damp Duster or similar versions on Amazon!

I have been including dusting sponges lately in my cleaning routine and am honestly super impressed!! Thanks to the grooves in the sponge it collects dust, pet hair, and particles like a champ in just one single swipe!

Check out this video where Lina tested these on YouTube!

The Scrub Daddy Duster sponge is so easy to clean with!

To use, run the duster sponge under running water to soften it. Then you’re ready to wipe the dust off shelving, blinds, railings, fan blades, baseboards, vents, or anywhere dust collects. Simply rinse the sponge clean and keep using it over and over. I wash mine with Dawn dish soap to keep it looking clean.

These unique damp sponges do a great job collecting dust in all the nooks and crannies on various surfaces and are actually very satisfying to use. The foam material is firm when dry and is noticeably sturdy.

Scrub Daddy vs. Amazon comparison

I enjoy trying the latest cleaning tools to see if they are worth the investment and recently picked up both the Scrub Daddy Damp Duster and an Amazon.com version to see how they stack up!

I am happy to report back that they are actually very similar! They seem to perform the exact same and feel the same. I honestly had trouble telling them apart at times. The Scrub Daddy version is just a bit bigger in size. Both are effective at cleaning dust and are worth the investment!

Where to buy Scrub Daddy Damp Duster:

using a damp duster sponge on shelving

Look out baseboards, shelves, and moldings! I am coming for ya!

Instead of other dusting tools that just move the dust around, this genuinely feels like you are pulling up the dust and cleaning effectively. We have lots of moldings and shelving in our home and these sponges are doing a great job of quickly wiping them clean.

Because the material is stronger and firmer than an average sponge, it really picks up lots of dust at once. I have never felt a sponge with this dense texture and the results are honestly impressive.

Scrub Daddy Duster spongers are the way to clean!

I thought the dust was under control at my house until I checked the top of my fridge. This is what was up there! I guess I need to dust there more often. Yuck!

If you have pets or allergies, this is a great way to help get rid of some of these allergens for sure.

I love using the damp duster! ❀️ Every time I get it out, I’m always looking for new things to clean after I’m done using it for what I got it out for. πŸ˜† The dirt and dust washes away super easy and it still looks almost brand new after several uses! πŸ™Œ

  4. Tpop

Would it not work better to hold the sponge with the grooves parallel to the molding grooves?

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Hey there, Tpop! You can use it either way! πŸ™Œ I did check with Lina and she said that she used it both ways! Hoping this is helpful! πŸ’•
