Insignia Air Fryer Recall: Refund Instructions for Six Affected Models!
Do you use an air fryer? There is a recall on Insignia air fryers.
Don’t cook just yet! Your Insignia air fryer may be a fire hazard.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has some important news for air fryer chefs. Your favorite cooking appliance may pose a threat to you and your family!
On March 14th, a recall was issued for Insignia air fryers. The recall is fairly serious so we encourage you to check your model as soon as possible.
It seems the air fryers may overheat which can cause the handles to melt or the glass to shatter. This causes a risk of fire, burns, and lacerations. So far there have been 24 incidents of overheating or glass shattering, In six of those incidents, the unit caught fire.
Around 187,000 units were sold in the USA and another 99,000 in Canada. If you have any of the units listed below, stop using them immediately. You are due for a refund!

How to get a refund for your Insignia air fryer…
DO NOT return your air fryer to the store as you will not receive a refund.
Instead, head to https://www.recallrtr.com/airfryer where you can register your claim and learn how to properly destruct your device.

Mine went through no problem. This has been the second recall. I will not be buying any insignia in the future. When I cut the cord I was fearful for a moment that this was a scam.
DARN! Thanks for sharing, Michelle. Happy yours went through! 🙌
