This Affordable Amazon Calendar is Giving Skylight a Run for Its Money!
I’m sharing my honest take after testing the Skylight and Amazon digital calendar for a few months!
I’ve owned the Skylight calendar for nearly two years, but I wanted to see how this affordable $79.99 shipped digital calendar from Amazon could compare.
If you’re drawn to the smart features of the Skylight calendar but not the hefty price tag, you may be surprised by how much this Amazon option offers. (Keep reading! Even the icons look the same! 🙌🏼)
After testing these calendars since May, I was expecting a huge difference, but other than size, I couldn’t really find one!

My final thoughts:
If you’re looking for a smart calendar that does all the things, this Amazon one will NOT disappoint! 👏🏼 The truth is: I actually re-gifted the Skylight to my mother-in-law because I no longer needed it.
This Amazon calendar does everything I want it to do, primarily: give tasks/ chores to my kiddos, add sporting events/ field trips/ etc. to the calendar, and display photos – without the subscription!? TIP: You need the Skylight Plus subscription to give rewards.
My kiddos also don’t have phones or Google accounts, so I don’t need calendar syncing to multiple devices; if you have younger-aged children like I do, this may be the perfect fit for you.

I have had this calendar since November 2025, and it’s the BEST investment I have made in a long time. I love that it can be color-coded for each person’s appts, and it’s so easy to add things to my phone, and it shows up at home for everyone. I also love that I can put pictures to look at while not using the calendar. Definitely a 10/10 purchase!!!!!
I am absolutely in love with the digital calendar. As my kids get older, it has become more difficult to keep up with everything, and this is a lifesaver. It is a large screen, which makes it easy to read. I can sync it up to my phone and update it from my phone when I’m on the go. I love the easy setup and versatility. If you are a busy mama, this is a must-buy.
