Kmart Coupon Double Deals 7/5-7/11
Since I’m on vacation the Kmart Double Deals list won’t be as extensive as usual. On a positive note, though, I’m still listing lots of FREE deals and other fantastic buys! You can also check out my previous Kmart Double deals list here. Lots of those deals will still be valid for the upcoming Kmart doubles.
Kmart Super Double Coupon Rules:
You can double up to and including coupons with a $2 value. That means that a $2 coupon will be doubled up to $4, a $1 coupon will be doubled up to $2. However, a $3 coupon will NOT be doubled at all!
There is a limit of 4 like coupons being doubled in one transaction.
You can only double up to 10 coupons per day when you have $25 or more in purchases. This is before any manufacturer coupons are used, so it should be easy to get up to the $25 amount.
Kmart also does NOT give coupon overage. For example, if you buy a product that is $2.50 and use a $2 coupon. The coupon will deduct $2 and the doubled amount will be .50, so you’ll get the item FREE–you just won’t make money.

FYI! I live in Cape Girardeau, MO and my KMart did not advertise double coupons but I was in there picking up a few school supplies that were on sale and the lady in front of me was coupon shopping and they doubled hers. So when I checked out I asked the cashier and she said they were setup to double coupons but they were not to advertise it. So even if you think you local KMart does not advertise double coupons call and ask. I think this is kinda sneaky but I came home and got coupons ready to go back tomorrow night.
I had no problems tonight at K-mart. Some items were out of stock and some of the prices were different here. I already know my K-Mart grocery section is limited but we got great deals. Did the Pull Up Deal without a hitch! I love teen male cashiers..he didn’t even look a the coupons 🙂
On the Huggies diaper deal, I haven’t tried it because I thought it was just for Pull-ups, but Michelle writes that she used “diapers”. Michelle–or anyone–can you confirm that you used “snug and dry” or “natural fit” diapers. I hate catalina deals, but do need a great diaper deal. Kelly
Went to KMart today for my 2nd trip. Did better, but had a bad cashier experience. I had 10 coupons to be doubled, a free item coupon, and a $5 off coupon. She said I could only use 10 TOTAL coupons. I tried explaining that it’s 10 that double, not 10 total. But no, she wouldn’t budge. She didn’t let me to the pantene deal either. And my olay coupon would’nt go through and she said that I couldn’t use it then. IDK why though. Anyways, she had to call for help and they spent 20 mins working on it. They were very mean (pissy) and made me feel bad for using coupons. She kept saying “I HATE double coupons” and the people behind me were stomping their feet and being annoyed with the wait. I just felt bad. I’m 21 and putting aside for school. I still feel a little embarassed. I wanted to go back Thurs, but am worried that will be remember me and treat me different. What do you guys think?
I have done 5 Kmart trips and you just have to get your total above $25.00 before your coupons. There is not a requirement to purchase anything else. My one order came to 2.37 OOP after qpons.

I have successfully done the diaper deal with many combos of Little Movers, Overnights, and Pullups. I also did it unsuccessfully last time around though, I think b/c I checked out at the service desk. When that happened, I returned them all, much to their dismay. HTH! 🙂
Can someone PLEASE explain the “having to purchase $25 worth of items before coupons”…I’m confused. My local K-Mart is not very friendly and it will be my 1st double coupon experience so I don’t want to go in totally clueless. =o)
Would you always want/need to use the $5 off $50 coupon?
If you purchase over $25 are you unable to use coupons?
How do you know how to purchase exactly $25 worth of groceries in order to get your total down enough with the correct coupons?

I’m sorry you had such a bad experience using double coupons. You might want to make a call to the district office and let them know about the poor customer service you received. Many businesses are struggling to make a go of it in today’s economy, and they need to know if rude employees are driving customers away!

I have done this like 15 times now. But I am no expert but my local Kmart does say “coupon lady” when I walk in. LOL! Anyway, they put all of these things out there this time and I am not sure why. I did the diaper deal buying 5 packs of diapers and the wipes, there were no grocery or drugstore items in that and the coupons doubled. I did buy the Huggies Natural diapers and it worked today FYI. The Cat printed before I paid so this made me feel more comfortable about doing it since the manager at the other Kmart was such a Douche. Anyway, do not worry anon it will work. Yes you will want to use the 5 off 50. The employees are very aware of this reward. You can also look at the screen to make sure your coupons are doubling. When I go through will all of my crap some coupons you have to pick on the screen so I watch and tell them which one. I am a pretty honest couponer. I will not deny that I have gotten some better than I should have deals, but I do not go out of my way to do this. Anyway today I bought 10 bottles of Starbucks, some baby wash, a-1, some dove deoderant, a few other things I cannot remember. My total was like $76 and when I left it was like $10. So I think they may or may not be forcing you to spend at least $25. I have never spent less than $50 before coupons with Kmart doubles. HTH!! Sorry everyone for being so long-winded.

Do not despair. They are just jealous for your deals. Women cashiers are just that way. I do not have any boys that work at my Kmart and sometimes I just have to leave in the middle of a transaction. I am not obligated to complete the transaction and pay if I don’t want to. I would totally go back. Go to a different cashier. Try, try, try again and it is a very admirable thing that you are doing putting aside for school. Do not let some angry cashier make you run and hide. That is what they want. Let them know they don’t scare you. When they argue with you try my new tatic just stare and blink. It gets pretty awkward and they usually just assume you are deaf or something and deal with it. I no longer argue. I have had several problems but more often than not it is ok. I just leave if they act rediculous. Kmart is not just doubling 10, btw. Depends on your cashier, I guess.

I had a convo at the service desk about the “10” coupon limit. I asked her what about a BOGO or a coupon that would not double aka any over 2.00, and she really couldnt tell me straight out an answer. The sign says 10 coupon limit, excludes BOGO..etc..and I showed her that. I think sometimes asking these almost simple questions stump people. I don’t think that we should have to include a Kmart coupon in part of our 10.
I went in an did the diaper deal and I only had 6 coupons plus my 5 off 50 and the cashier messed up on a 2.00 coupon and chose the item that was 2.99…making me lose out on a 1.00. I called it to her attention and she thought she fixed it, but after leaving it was still wrong. I am tired of having to basically check out my order myself and they are still getting it wrong with just 10 coupons!
I hate to complain, but I just don’t understand why it is so hard to get this stuff right.
Kelly….don’t ever feel bad for using coupons..I never apologize to cashiers or other rude customers. I look at it as the cashiers have to be there and the customers can go into another line. No one else is going to buy our stuff for us, and until then they can shove it! 🙂
o.k…I’m so frustrated right now. We try and “save” with coupons so then why do stores have to make it so difficult?
So I called my local super K-mart a few mins. ago…she said they were doing the double coupons (ends tomorrow), they would take up to 25 coupons but you had to spend $25 AFTER coupons…
This is my frustration…why don’t they know the rules??? It seems that, from people on here, that it’s BEFORE coupons…but then if I go all the way there (the closest K-mart to me is about 35 mins. away) and I walk out without anything b/c they are mistaken about the rules that’s going to make me really MAD!

They are wrong. You do not have to spend $25 after coupons. They are morons. I am sorry but some people. Anyway don’t ask any questions and go there and see what happens. I find that asking too many questions sometimes it backfires! Anyway, good luck, go buy what you wanted to and if it does not go your way then just walk out without buying anything. Ginger, I am sure you will do fine!!
NJ is not having double coupons this week – i printed all my coupons and was ready to go. i called the kmart closest to me to get exact directions (it’s about a 20 min drive) and just happened to ask if the double coupons was going on. thank goodness i asked. nope. i called 4 other stores in the nj area and they weren’t either! i am so sad!!
Thank you guys so much for your help, and your nice comments. They made me feel so much better. Thank you. I love the new idea-stare and blink. So funny! I’m going to Kmart tomorrow with my mom, and I’ll see how it goes. Hopefully that mean cashier and the higher up lady are not there!
If anyone hasn’t figured it out yet here are a few other deals I’ve gotten this week:
$1 off Listerine (coupons.com) – in the fine print it says you can use it on Reach floss. They are about $1.49 – $1.69 at my store so that = FREE
$2 off Listerine (coupons.com) – same fine print, and it says that you can use it on reach toothbrushes. There were ‘buy 1 get 1 free’ packs priced at $3.69 so again that = FREE
Ponds Cleansing Towelettes (15ct) are on sale for $3 and on the ponds site you can print a $1.50 off coupon (https://www.ponds.com/). It is a bricks link, but I was having issues printing it. It was stuck at the ‘please wait’ screen. I had one from before.
In St Louis and the Manchester Rd Kmart gave me song and dance about not printing the Catalina for the diaper deal b/c Huggies weren’t included—just pull ups, etc. However, the large HUGGIES on the sign is the logo for that brand line, and it should count.
Also, they told me that the $50 total had to be after coupons, not before. So basically the scenario as written won’t work. I went to customer service twice and they gave me gift cards for the catalina values, but not before treating me like a moron

I did the same diaper deal that everyone else did and after she rang up my items which were 5 packs of diapers and 1 package of wipes, the coupon printed right away. That was even before I checked out with coupons. I did this the same was last double coupons, so I can’t understand why so many people are not getting their’s to print out.
I’ve done the diaper deal twice so far (using regular huggies diapers) with no issues with the Catalina. I used the $2 coupon from the Graco pdf. But my cashier would only let me use 4 of them, so I had to use another $1.50 off coupon I had from a home mailer.
The first time I got the deal, I bought 3 packs of diapers, and then mixed my purchase with other participating brands.
With the help of these Catalina offers I’m pretty sure my son will be set with diapers!!
5 Regular huggies or the Natural huggies and one wipes does work. Please try again. I would hate for you to lose out. The coupon prints from the Catalina machine BEFORE you pay not like WG’s! So if it does not print do not pay. It is $50 before coupons. The people at Kmart do not know, they just spectulate.
I read on another site that BOGO coupons are doubling so you can end up getting 2 free items. Anyone know anything about this?!?! It would be awesome to make another trip out there with some of my bogo coupons!
Also from my experience, the catalina will NOT print if you check out at the service desk! Make sure you check out at a REGULAR cash register. I have no idea why that is, but I’ve done the diaper deal both ways and it only worked at a regular cash register. THT!
Samantha-I don’t think BOGOs double twice. They didn’t at mine, I wasn’t even allowed to use any! But this might just be at my KMart.
I had a better KMart experience today with my mom. Nicer cashier this time, but the mean one was there and was glaring at me the whole time!!!
I went in today and did the Huggies deal twice. Yes, Huggies diapers count! The Catalina used to print out when the checker hit total, before scanning your coupons. It has been fixed so that it prints when the transaction is complete. This was so a cashier couldn’t ring up $50 worth of stuff, grab a $14 catalina and then void the transaction out. I was sort of worried when my cat didn’t print when she hit total and she went and asked someone, who said I probably didn’t have the right items. I told her I’d done it before. Then, fortunately, my favorite cashier walked by and I asked her what was up. She told me about the change. So I finished my transaction and it printed out – no problems! Maybe this has been the problem with some people here – are you just expecting it when they hit total and not completing the transaction?
Oh, and coupons don’t affect the cat at all. I paid $23 OOP and got the $14 cat.
