Desk Workers/College Students: Earn $50 Amazon Card?!
Are you a full-time desk worker or college student?! If so, head on over here to join a special online focus group…Advanced Consumer Insights is looking for 1,100 desk workers (people who work behind a computer and use email daily and calendar weekly) and/or full-time college/university students. Eligible panelists will earn $50 in Amazon gift certificates to talk to manufacturers of software in order to help them improve their products. How cool is that?!
Applied but after I said I was a graduate student they said I didn’t qualify. : (
i applied and went through the inital screening but it said i didn’t qualify and that they were looking for a specific type of executive, which i am not. had they given that information early on, i could have saved myself the time.
I said I was only on 1 team at work and could manage changes to shared documents well and then it told me I wasn’t qualified.
That’s where it cut me off as well. I really hope that this doesn’t end in a bunch of spam, since they now have all of my info. oh well, it was worth a try!
I’m at the Non-disclosure agreement. I think that it competes with my NDA signed with my company and it reads like my work data would become their property which is not acceptable in any way. Oh well, $50 isn’t worth my job!
I didn’t qualify because I told them I wasn’t going to download any programs.
do you have to download programs in order to join this survey company? If so I won’t even bother giving them my number
You have to download what is called Live meeting, which is a program that allows many people to be able to view and hear the same information. I use this already sometimes for work.

I got in. Apparently they do 6-8 sessions a month and you will be invited to one or two of them. You have to respond quickly and they are at 8am and 6pm. A fifty dollar Amazon card for an hour or an hour and a half of my time, I am so there!
I also got in. Just have to be a college student at sign up. I may get rejected – was not willing to give out my ph# – they said they would call participants.
Well, I couldn’t get past the sign-in. It kept telling me (even though I checked the box) that I had to accept the terms and conditions. Oh Well, sounds disappointing anyway..lol..

Alrighty… nevermind.. Was not a big fan of the NDA.
Glad I read the comments before trying for this ~ sounds like I would not want to do this either, based on the NDA. I can not imagine any company being okay with giving out information for any type of survey. And even if they were ~ it would have to come from a lot higher up than myself!
I signed up and it sounds interesting to me. I will see how it goes!

I should have read the comments here first. Spent at least ten minutes already getting through some of the questions. Now they specifically want my work contact information, no dice. I’ve been paid more for other panels consisting of much less. The verbiage in a lot of the questions sound like they are really trying to steer towards big decision makers of companies. Sounds to me like they’re aiming to sell.
I just referred this to my step daughter and I am pretty sure now she probably shouldn’t do this because she works for a government contract company and I think she would lose her job? Perhaps this ND thing is the tell tell of it all?
