Rain, Rain, Go Away…
I emailed my mom this picture of my backyard and she is just so excited that I now have a Lakefront unit. You can’t beat that when you live on a Military base! 😀 If you know of a great deal on a boat or canoe, please lemme know!
What a great photo! I’ll take your rain! Looking at the photo takes me back to farm irrigation days… better than any swimming pool!
That’s how it was on our military base today! What’s with the flash flooding going around? 🙂
Nice! I live on the air station and I also now have lakefront property… on “Lake McCutcheon”. 🙂
AAHHHH, life on a military base. Grew up in the Air Force, and while stationed at K.I. Sawyer AFB, MI (in the upper peninsula), we got tons of snow. One of our neighbors plowed the snow up from our soccer field and ran a garden hose out there. The next day, we had a skating rink. Necessity, the mother of invention.
ahahahahah, you have a good sense of humor. At least we know that you have water and a pretty lake for pictures! .
That a crazy photo. The play equipment is not under water. I live in PA and its going to rain all day. My yard is getting flooded as I write this.
So you could use a little inflatable boat to send the kids to the play equipment! Be sure they wear their life vests! 🙂
Count your blessings…we’re in twentynine palms MCAGCC and I miss the rain so much!
It looks like an island! Too bad you can’t take the kiddies out there in a little boat. 🙂
Time to buy a Skim Board!!!
so, at my house we walk a mile one direction to get to the pool or a mile in the opposite direction to get to the park, guess you have both in one spot you lucky girl!
OMG, that’s too funny that the playground is the only thing above water. I would have so swam to that when I was a kid :). I’m in NC also and this morning I checked on the new house I’m buying (red clay soil, grass seeds & hay down just this week) and overnight a foot deep muddy creek formed right beside my newly paved driveway starting at the top ALL the way to the road. Rain rain go away….
Thats how we look! NC isn’t gonna be in that drought much longer since its been raining 4 days straight!
check the summer clearance for some rafts!!!
