WooHoo!  I’ve got some great news for all you CVS shoppers who are planning to take advantage of the *HOT* Dove deal this week with the high value Dove coupons we received in today’s newspaper!   Through June 30th, Dove Men+Care Deodorant and Body Wash appear to be on sale 2/$6 as part of a monthly CVS sale, even though the advertised in-ad price for this week is $5 for the body wash and 2/$7 for the deodorant.  As you can see from the photos, even the signs are advertising the price listed in the ad, so be sure to price check the items if your store doesn’t show the sale price!

Here’s how you can score a great deal through the end of the month (6/30)…

Spend $15 on Participating Dove, Degree, Lever or Caress = $5 Ecb (limit 1)
Deal Scenario:
Buy 5 Dove Men+Care Deodorants $3 each (through June 30th)
subtotal = $15
Use (5) $2/1 Dove Men+Care deodorant coupons found in the 6/26 RP
Pay $5
Get back a $5 Ecb
Final cost – 5 Free deodorants! 🙂

Or, you can score this combination deal with the Dove Men+Care deodorant and body wash…

Spend $15 on Participating Dove, Degree, Lever or Caress = $5 Ecb (limit 1)
Deal Scenario:

Buy 2 Dove Men+Care body wash $3 each (through 6/30)
Subtotal = $15
Use 3 $2/1 Dove Men+Care deodorant coupons found in the 6/26 RP
Plus, use the Buy 1 get 1 Free Dove Men+Care body wash coupon found in the 6/26 RP

Final cost $0.20 per item!

* Please keep in mind that this sale price for the Dove Men+Care items may be regional, so make sure to do a price check to verify that they are in fact ringing up 2/$6.

That was the price in Alabama! I got 4 body washes and 2 deodorants and 2 Shick Hydro 5 razors… used 2 BOGO body wash coupons, 2 $2 deo coupons, 2 $4 razor coupons, $3 off $15 purchase (check coupon machine!!) and 4 ECBs and my total was 1.61 and I got $5 ECBs back and another $3 off $15 purchase!!

    • punkindoodl

Racheal, If you don’t ming me asking where in Alabama? I’m in Alabama too and I’m hoping these will be the same price at my store.

      • Laura

Me too! I’m hoping it’s in trussville..

    • Melissa

did your BOGO coupon automatically take off $5.99 or did it ask for a manual input for a price? someone reported it took off $5.99 automatically

      • Maureen

Mine deducted 5.99 automatically, making it a MM!!!!

    • Laura

PS- your photography site is beautiful!!

      • Racheal

I’m in Arab. I don’t know how much they deducted because she put them in while I went to grab 2 more bottles to bring my total up! I will have to find my receipt and check. You can see my photography site?? Thank you!!

  2. Michele

THANKS!! I have a raincheck from when the dove deodorants were on sale for 99 cents each..Can’t wait to get in on this deal!!

    Michele

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Michele- I used the rain check today and they only counted $.99 each towards the $15. Guess I thought they would count at the sale price.

      • melissa

.99 IS the sale price w/your RC, thats what counted towards the deal.

  3. Danielle

Colin I was wondering how to work in some Dove Body Wash coupons that I have printed a few weeks back that are Buy one Woman’s body wash and get $3.75 off any Dove Men+ Care body wash. Any suggestions on how to do this and get the best deal with this rockin’ promo??

  4. Tracey

Got all excited when i saw this, then went to my paper and there are no Dove coupons in there. 🙁

  5. Em

Ok. Dumb new CVS couponer question. So, if the new price is 2/$6, can I get one for $3 or do I have to get 2 in order the receive the discount? I only ask because I only got one paper this weekend and don’t have multiple coupons for the deodorant, bodywash, etc.

    • punkindoodl

You can get one for $6 🙂

      • punkindoodl

        I’m sorry….I meant one for $3 🙂

        • Em

          Thanks : )

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Dove website has coupons but you might have to register

  6. ljaglast

also…these Dove purchases will go towards your free Gas card!!

  7. Jenna

The price on the shelf for the men’s deodorant was 2/$7, but when I scanned it at the coupon machine, it rang up 2/$6. I got 5 dove men deodorants for $15, used 5 $2/1 coupons, paid $5 and got $5 ecb’s back. They were free! (This was in the Houston area in Texas)

  8. eli

Collin the coupon database is not working for me, is there a technacal problem?

  9. Stephanie

This is OT but I have a Sherpani $15.00 credit that I am not going to use and it expires on the 30th. Can anyone use it? I would be happy to give the code to someone who would use it. If you want it please post your email address and I will send it to you. 🙂

  10. Stephanie

We didn’t get that coupon in our Red Plum! 🙁

  11. Elle

worked here in KC! awesome deal!

  12. Meghan

I am in MA and just went out and this worked perfectly. I did the 1st scenario and got my 5 deodorants for FREE!!! Thanks for the info Collin!!!

  13. rebecacha

Silly question…where does it say the Dove deodorant is on sale through the 30th? My flyer simply says 2/$7…THANKS! 🙂

  14. rebecacha

I mean on sale for $3 each instead of 2/$7

  15. miss_artist

So I saw posted that the Dove products are part of the gas promo at CVS this week my ad does not say that…Just wondering if anyone has tried it and if it worked or not.
    Thanks ~Lisa

  16. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

can u get overage at cvs because I could use my rain check for 99 cent dove deoderont and the 2/1 coupon for a $1.01 money maker!!!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

No you can not get overage the only way you could get overage is if you bought 2 of the deodorants and used (1) $2 off coupon which will still have to be adjusted down to $1.98 hth if not I can explain it in a different way =)

    • Justina

I’ve never had CVS give overage on a coupon like that $2/1 dove deo (sometimes with a BOGO coupon that requires a fill in price, you get lucky!). Your best bet is to get two @ $.99 (if your raincheck allows) and have them adjust the single coupon down to $1.98. Unfortunately, my dove men purchase didn’t count towards the gas deal (if it had I might have been more inclined to finish one!). HTH.

  17. Pancit25

Hahaahaha! This is my first time trying this (NEWBIE here!) after intensively watching videos and reading your blogs guys – So I THANK YOU! I took 4 cuz add says $5 each, then I had 2 BOGO clippings. I was so excited about getting the $5 EB back so I can use to my next transaction. It didn’t print for me and I panic and proceeded to my next transaction…. OMG! I had the whole thing planned for BOGO on Wisk detergent with my $2 coupon it would have came to just $4 or something but without my $5 EB I had to pay more than that…. 🙁 I stood by the side of the front store trying to figure out what I did wrong. At the end I finally had the guts to approach cashier and asked her why I didn’t get EB. She pointed out that it’s 2/$6 so she just told me to grab another one and paid $3 for it and my $5EB printed out. At the end I still came out good! I came home and checked the site and here it goes! LMAO…. There’s always a first time for everyone!

I am also new here and made my hubby run out and get a paper today. I found some coupons that I am excited to use this week but I am really interested in this dove deoderant coupon but I didn’t get a red plum insert in my newspaper today. Where can I get this coupon here in Jacksonville NC

  19. Brandy

I got 4 body washes and 1 deodorant, since my husband is kind of picky about deodorant. I also had 2 B1G1 cpns and 1 $2/1 cpn for the deodorant plus a $3 off $15 purchase. I ended up paying less than $5 and got back the $5 extra buck. I roll mine from week to week because I always find something we can use or donate and I enjoy going. I was going to both Walgreens and CVS but decided I’d stick with CVS unless Walgreens has some sort of awesome deal. I’m really liking couponing, it was amazing to go in yesterday and only spend $12 total at CVS for 4 bottles laundry detergent, 4 body washes, 1 stick deodorant, 4 travel size deodorants (my walmart has been out of the degree for a while but CVS had them for $1.27 so they were $0.27), 1 raid bug spray starter kit, 5 powerades, 6 boxes of cookies, and some other stuff.

Collin, I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your blog and follow it religiously.

  20. Kim

So I did the Dove deoderant deal, but the $5 ECB didn’t print. When I asked the cashier why, he said it was because I didn’t spend $15 out of pocket because I used coupons! I have never had this problem at CVS before, did they change their coupon policy?

    • melissa

Sorry, but the cashier is wrong. You might want to take a look at your receipt, to ck the total spent towards the deal. Since the prices are ringing up lower than advertised, you were probably short.

    • danigall428

I had the same thing happen to me too. I was all flustered, but when I explained it to the cashier she understood. She was somehow able to reprint the ECB for me after my transaction. You may want to call corporate if your store isn’t willing to help. They are extremely nice. I called them today to check on something that was confusing in their ad.

  21. amc

colin, what would a good way to use the b1 and get $3.75 off dove men+care body wash?
    thanks so much

  22. Jenn

My first transaction…the BOGO coupon took off 5.99. Then I realized that I had to go back and buy more to get my $5ECB…..and I did the same transaction but the cashier manually put $3 for the BOGO coupon. I tried asking why only $3 since it was $5.99 the first time…but she was really not nice. I figured it wasn’t worth arguing with her. I don’t think she was very happy since I got everything for $5.11 OOP after rolling my ECB.

  23. Roxy

This worked out beautifully in Florida this morning. I had the cashier price check for me since their magic machine was out of order and the sale price sign did not reflect this deal price and the deodorants were indeed 2 for $6. Thank you so much for posting this! I got 5 free deodorants!!! (I used 5 ECBs and got 5 back, OOP only .84 cents, for 5 Items, my favorite type of transaction!)

  24. Anna

Sale worked for me in Maryland. I got 4 body washes and 2 deods. I had 2 BOGOF for body washes and 2 deod coupons. In the end I paided 3.90 out of pocket (had 2 EB from last week and got 3 off 15 Q from magic coupon machine). Walked out of there with a 5 EB! Yay Hip to Save! My hubby and I thank you, Colin!

  25. Diana

None of those great Dove q’s in the Charleston Post and Courier!

  26. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My CVS was out of these products 🙁 Wonder if they will get anymore in. I should have asked. Trying to overcome my shyness.

  27. Melissa

The price for the deodorant in Western NC was 2/$7. Still a pretty good deal at 50 cents apiece. Thanks, Collin!

  28. Cherie

Worked for me in Virginia Beach, thanks Collin!
