7/24 π
Oopsie! Just corrected that! π
hey collin, just wanted to let you know, thought out the post, you list the date’s as 7/17 π
I might have to buy a few extra papers tomorrow. A bunch of coupons I really want!
I am a relatively new coupons and I just have to ask- why does everyone go so crazy over KY coupons? Do ya’ll really use that much personal lube? Lol I know I sound silly
A while back collin posted about all the different uses for KY and some of them were really odd… The ones I remember are hair gel or loosening stuck/tight nuts and bolts, haha..
I also use it as shave gel for my arm pits~ it’s AMAZING!! It prevents knicks as my razor just glides right over it! π
BTW KY is known to give you infections in the (no no area) lol. so dont use it as a personal lubricant. If you want a great lube use ID or JO! Just and FYI
KY does not cause infections, personal hygiene does!
I personally LOVE K-Y Coupons because they get me coupon overage at the Commissary! And I can then apply that overage to produce and other items I don’t have coupons for. Also, there are many uses for K-Y other than the obvious…. π

Joscelin, I have wondered the same thing. WOW!!!
Wouldnt WD-40 be less messy? lol
How often do we ever get to stack sales with coupons for WD-40 though?
I also got some extra walgreens coupons in my smartsource insert (Chicago). Including a 2.00/huggies that will stack nicely with the $3/1 from last week π
Is there a way to check if the Red Plum insert comes in your newspaper? I’m new to the coupon community and the last 3 weeks of papers I’ve picked up don’t have them. Thanks for the help! :0)
Some areas, like ours, they come in the mail on Tuesdays with the weekly ad. I don’t even get them for some reason, but my mom does so I steal them from her.
I subscribe to the sundaycouponpreview(dot)com and on there it tells you that you can find out what inserts are coming to an area near you… (you actually put your zip code in and it tells you if you’ll get the insert)…it works for me but not sure that it’s fool proof… good luck
You can go to their website.
https://www.redplum.com/CouponBook.aspx
Fill in your info, and they will tell you where the red plum coupons are in your area. There are also printable coupons on the site.
I just used for the first time the hip list to print my deals for tomorrow. How do I make the hip list bar close. My list is printed, but the bar shows up across the postings on the home page. Very annoying. How do I close it! Any help?
Hmm, that’s odd. Try closing your browser and re-opening it. If that doesn’t work, try deleting your browser’s cookies. Google for help on that if you need it.
Noticed quite a few coupons have the new bar code!!
There’s just a new bar code; no one mentioned cheating…………………………………Wow.
Do you? b/c I sure don’t need to cheat the system to get great deals! My motto is if you have to cheat, Karma has a way of biting you in the axx!
One issue with the new barcodes is do the stores accept them? The checkers I’ve seen are scanning the shorter older barcode & not the new one so I don’t know if a coupon only has the new barcode if it will be accepted at all stores.
Also, it was helpful with the old bar code to know if it started with a five since that meant it was a manufacturer coupon when you are stacking coupons.
Stores are aware of the new bar codes and already have their system set to accept them. I have used these new coupons at a bunch of stores and no issues at all.
AFA stacking…shouldn’t be too hard to figure the difference between a manuf q (it’ll just be numberless) while a store coupon will still have their own bar code (like Target and Rite Aids Video Values)
sorry, that should be – stores should already have their system set to accept them. I believe they have until 12/31 to have their registers completely updated.
Lmao @ the smiley next to the ky jelly ! π
It’s interesting to see what coupons others are getting! I live in Ohio and didn’t get many of the coupons listed as National- Finlandia, New York, Oxi, 2000 Flushes (only an add), Whiskas. I only got 1 L’Oreal coupon and it was for the creme color gloss. I did get the Murphy’s, M&Ms, all 3 Kelloggs and the Post coupons. We hardly ever get the regional Target ones.
Collin i also live in the greater jacksonville area and am noticing that the Daily news does not have to many coupons! What other papers in our area should i be getting on sunday????
Hi Amy,
The Raleigh paper (News & Observer) is the ONLY paper you’ll want to get. The Jacksonville paper rarely has coupons and is NOT worth purchasing. You can find the Raleigh paper in Newspaper machine thingies (whatever they’re called!) by gas stations and other stores. You do have to get the papers early, though, as they seem to be gone at about 8am (or earlier) on Sunday’s! π I also know that the Circle K on Piney Green Sells the Raleigh newspapers inside as well.
Hope this helps a little!
Just wanted to share a link with you about an initiative Walgreens has started to provide healthy fruits and vegetables to areas of the country called “food deserts.” I know offering cantaloupes or apples here and there is not quite there yet, but it’s going in the right direction. I hope you’ll encourage people to buy those items in addition to (or occasionally instead of) Twizzlers, Magnum ice cream bars, and Milka bars. That is a great price for cantaloupes and they are great for you! I know it’s unusual to see fresh items in drugstores, but I’d just hate to see it be a joke all the time. π

On vacation and bought my paper at a gas station in rural Indiana…what a bust. I didn’t realize that RedPlum and SmartSource offered such different coupons in different regions. There are MAYBE 10 coupons between both inserts. Oh well…I don’t travel often so I guess it’s not such a big deal.
Hello! Collin, I have a question for you! Not exactly sure where your from, but i’m from Danville, Kentucky! Big cities pretty close are Lexington and Louisville! Danville has a paper called the advocate messenger which I never get it never has coupons in it! I know different regions have different coupons, so Kentucky must be one of the sucky regions lol! I do however get the Lexington Herald-Leader and there are several in this but nothing close to the list you provide with coupon preview! I do get each insert as specified, like today I did get smartsource and RP, but the RP has 6 coups both $1 garnier 1 for shamp/cond and 1 for styling product. It has $2 loreal cream gloss color, $5 i-flex for (glucosamine),$ 1.50 kibbles and bits and $55 land O’frost! I never get many. Is there anyway for finding out what we will get per paper in my region! Every week I get excited only to be disaapointed!!! 1st I thought it mayb due to theft of the coupons, but today after getting it from the box I went to another store where they keep the papers inside by the cash register and they were all the same!! I know thats pityful, but had to make sure! Coupons theft is rampade round here! People are really getting deseperate!! π I love saving a lil money! Thanks for all you do!
Can’t believe it–got my papers home and someone had taken all the coupons. : (
I have never had a problem with not receiving coupons but today I didn’t even get the Smart Source which is why I bought 2 papers. I didn’t check the paper because my husband bought it for me. All the coupons for CVS were in it. Not happy!! I live in Knoxville, TN. Not sure if there wasn’t a Smart Source in our papers or not….I didn’t go out to investigate.
I got a question of you Collin. does the Raleigh paper have better coupons than the Fayetteville one? I live in Fayetteville and that’s the paper I usually buy.
Raleigh for sure.
