Amazon: KitchenAid Artisan 5-Quart Stand Mixer Only $233.75 Shipped + More
Wow! There are, in my opinion…. especially when comparing prices with other sites, a couple awesome KitchenAid Mixer deals currently available on Amazon! With Christmas just around the corner, this is a great time to think about snatching up one of these, as they will definitely make for one heck of a gift… especially for that wifey in your life who really wants one *hint* *hint* 😉
So with that being said, here are a couple of the fabulous deals I spotted:
KitchenAid Artisan 5-Quart Stand Mixer
Only $233.75 (down from $349.99!) – note that this is for the empire red color only
* This is a steal of a price, as Kohl’s has the same mixer price at $359.99 and Sears has the same mixer priced at $314.99. This mixer also has fantastic reviews!
KitchenAid Professional 600 Series 6-Quart Stand Mixer
Only $299.99 (down from $499.99!) – note that this is for the caviar gloss color only.
* This huge mixer can effectively mix up to 14 cups of all-purpose flour and produce up to 8 pounds of mashed potatoes! Wow!
I have the caviar color of the 5qt mixer and it’s stunning. The online photos simply don’t do it justice.
I have the same color and love it. I knew I’d have this mixer for a long long time and wanted a color that went with almost any decor.
If you dont have a stand mixer you need one! I LOVE mine! I think also that Kitchen aid sells refurbished ones on their website. My sister got one when she got her PHD from my parents and they did refurbished and you couldnt tell! Le Crueset does refurbished too! I’m a sucker for designer kitchen-ware…
Wow I wish! Completely out of my budget though 🙁
Oh my that is the only thing on my Christmas list! Oh well I can’t afford it at the moment but who knows!
I have one and it is AMAZING. It may be an investment in the beginning, but it is one that is well-worth it! These things are made to LAST.
My mom’s white one was purchased in the 70’s and is still going strong without ONE repair!!!
I have the Artisan and it’s been able to handle everything I’ve thrown at it for more than eight years! Love it!
Every year around Black Friday, Amazon will have some wicked good deals that you can only snag by lottery. A couple years ago, I won a Kitchen Aid Mixer which was priced around $70 (don’t remember exact cost) with free shipping!! Maybe they’ll repeat the Kitchen Aid offer this year? 🙂
I actually picked up this mixer, in black, as a floor model this past summer at jcp. It was marked $89.99 and with my coupon I was able to get another $10 off! It is the BEST present I ever bought myself!!!
According to their recent ad, Kohls will have this same mixer on sale for $299 starting Saturday (I believe). Through the 26th you also get $10 Kohl’s cash for every $50 you spend, plus there are 15, 20, or 30% off coupons for those who have Kohl’s cards (and for those who don’t, check your emails. I just got one for 20% off!).
Oh, and don’t forget the mail-in rebate for either a FREE glass mixing bowl or a meat grinder!
I just bought my KitchenAid Artisan 5-qt. Stand Mixer from Kohls.com

I took advantage of this today–thank you! They had the mixer for 299, I had a 30% coupon for an additional $90 savings, then they awarded my $40 in Kohl’s cash. I also can send in a rebate for a free food grinder or glass bowl to use with my new Artisan mixer. Thanks for letting me know about this.
I think there are some rebates available for this mixer for free attachments on the Kitchenaid website. May want to check that out too if you’re purchasing this mixer.
I’d LOVE to have one of those!! But, I don’t see that happening any time soon. So, I’ll just drool over the picture until then. 😉
My sister got a basic smaller model at Walmart black friday last year for, I think, $150.
Just wanted to say that I got one almost 10 yrs ago for Christmas and I love it. Mine is basic white, but I really wouldn’t care what color it is… but that’s just me. I love it though most awesome investment ever~ it is super heavy though.
My husband talked me into buying one 22 years ago — best investment (kitchenwise) we ever made. He uses it as much as or more than I do. He is a great cook!
LOVE mine! If you’re considering it, go for it! Worth every penny even at full price!
I had the use of a professional in my ‘blow off, classes in high school and fell in love with them. So, as soon as I was available I bought a 5 qt artisan in stainless steel. I love that machine!
Sigh! Someday…Someday….
Me too! I’ve been dreaming of getting mine over 10 yrs now.lol Maybe when I get out of debt, I’d love to get their stand mixer! 🙂
I have the 6 qt professional mixer in caviar and it is amazing. My dad was a professional chef for many years and has had a Kitchenaid since they first came out.
I actually got mine from the outlet store at the Kitchenaid factory in Ohio for $187. I would recommend anyone who wanted one to also considering calling them for deals. They shipped it for free to me (granted I live in Ohio), and I absolutely love it. The caviar is beautiful in person, it has these gorgeous tiny flecks of metallic in the black and it makes the mixer truly stand out.
Looks like Kitchen Aid has really good deals on refurbished models. $189 for the Artisan in every color imaginable. I know what to ask Santa to bring now!

Man! My kitchenaid mixer is dying. When I turn it on it shoots stuff everywhere the low speed has turned to super speed lol. I wish I had the extra money that is a killer deal!
This is my next big kitchen purchase. It will probably be another year, but I still love looking at them. If there were a drooly smiley I would so have that on here.
Lol? 🙂
I’m almost upset right now- just bought one @sears a month ago for $240 (4.5qt) boooo THEN I look at it in the kitchen and my sadness goes away I LOVE IT!!!
Lol, Isn’t that how it always works? You buy something and then it goes on sale right after?
I have the 6 qt in caviar! I absolutely LOVE it! 🙂
So what do you do with it?
To make this deal even sweeter (20% sweeter, to be exact!), here’s an additional discount: if you use your Amazon Rewards credit card, save another 20% w/ code OCTGET20. (Discount is for Kitchen & Dining and expires tomorrow, October 20, 2011. One discount per person, so order everything at once.)
You’ll have to follow these steps, because there is an automatic free shipping offer that cancels out the 20% promotion:
On the Review Your Order screen, enter OCTGET20 in the Gift Cards & Promotional Codes box. Click “apply.” You will get an error message, but don’t fret.
On the same screen look for “billing information” and click on “change”. Choose “Amazon.com Visa” and check the box that says “Use your $XX.xx gift card or promotional balance.” (Be sure the amount of promotional balance equals 20% of the product price.) Click “continue.”
Choose “FREE Super Saver” shipping speed. Your order summary should show a super saver discount and a promotion applied. Mine shows NO TAX, as well, a great bonus for buying from amazon. 🙂
Thanks for posting the deal, Collin!
If you like to cook/bake, you will never regret buying this. Ive had mine (red, just like the picture) for 9 years and use it probably 5+ times a week. LOVE IT! It will last forever and it has so many attachments (like an ice cream maker). Well worth the money, IMHO.
Dont laugh but myCobalt Blue one has seen 2 husbands and still going strong!
It truly is one of the best investments you can make if you enjoy cooking.
I have been wanting a nice mixer for a long time but never wanted to really spend the money. I saw this deal and after talking to my sister and how much she paid for the Artisan 5 qt ($350), I decided to bite the bullet and get the 6qt professional one!! I have been using a hand mixer I got from my mom when I was about 19, I’m 35 now (I know so sad isn’t it!) Time to get an “adult” mixer don’t you think!!
Thanks Collin for all the great deals you post!!
That is an awesome deal on the 6 qt Professional! I just got home from Costco & we were looking at the Professional 5.5 qt for the same price!! It didn’t even come with the pouring shield either!!
I grabbed one of these four years ago at Bed Bath and Beyond – on sale for $249.99 (again red only, fine by me tho my kitchen’s brown and red) and I used a 20% off coupon!!! The sales are around if you’re watching, but no matter what the price this is the most amazing mixer. My mom has had her white one since the 70’s I swear and it is still going strong!!!
If you have time to wait to receive your mixer, the Black and White 5qt Artisans can often be found on Amazon for around $209 + free shipping. I kept my eye out for a great deal on one months before our wedding, and the price on Amazon fluctuates daily. Every so often it will drop to ~$209. That’s the best deal I’ve seen on these mixers! At the time ours was ordered there was also a rebate for a free glass mixing bowl or meat grinder (Mother’s Day Promotion)!
Mr Collin ( 🙂 ) I hope you are reading this… Get your awesome wife one for Christmas! And definitely go with at least a 5 quart.
I can’t afford either, but lets say santa could, which should he get? The 5 or 6 qt? After the above mention coupon code the 5qt is $180 and the 6qt is $234. Should he step up to get the 6qt for an extra $50?
I just bought at kitchenaid artisans 5 qt mixer on amazon for $169.99 with free shipping. I really hope this is a good deal. I don’t want to wait until the holidays then find it cheaper somewhere else…Do you think i paid a good price?
how did you get it for 169?
Everybody asks what was the best wedding gift you got and I always say my KitchenAid mixer. All the ladies I work with went in together and bought me the 600 Professional and it is truly my all time favorite appliance. There is no task too great for that beast! And that makes my life so much easier!
