Lamest Black Friday ad ever — Not trying to be pessimistic or ungrateful but WOW!
AGREED! 🙁
Double agree!
triple!
just terrible
I was thinking the same thing!
Totally AGREE!
y?
So when would these deals start? On Thanksgiving when they’re open or not until Black Friday?
It’s a 3 day sale, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. HTH.
ahhh Thank you ! This did help : )
Def not as good as last year. Going to get dh his Degree deo, Cokes for our holiday party and maybe the Revlon (depends on colors… I have so many already from CVS deals LOL)
It’s so sad that stores are now going to be open ON the holiday, too. I feel badly for those who have to work on Thanksgiving. Retail trumps tradition, I guess. 🙁
Actually, not everyone celebrates this holiday – or many others – and holiday work usually pays time and a half or double time, so it might not be a bad thing for the employees working that day. If I had a retail job, I would gladly choose to work on Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. (And I used to – I worked Thanksgiving at Starbucks about 12 years ago and it was pretty great!)
I agree. My family doesn’t celebrate holidays, and there’s other who don’t or others who prefer to make money working over eating turkey.
My son is a full time college student and works full time retail at a big box store. We will celebrate Thanksgiving with him adjusting to his schedule (which will require him to go in about 10pm). He doesn’t mind the hours, just the demanding customers who apparently don’t see the other customers in the store.
I don’t understand the outcry towards retail workers, to feel bad for them? There are plenty of other industries that have to work on holidays – hospital workers, hotel workers, casino workers, your local police & fire dept. and more. Do you feel the same way about them?
I used to work in retail and don’t need anyone to feel sorry for me b/c I had to work on Thanksgiving. It was a job, and income. With the economy the way it is, I’m sure those that are working need income too.
Yeah I was in high school (17 yrs old) and I HAD to work Thanksgiving and Christmas because I worked at a Children’s hospital.
I apologized to two friends for having to work on this holiday and they both said “Dont! I’m getting paid double time.” Their families adjusted dinner time to their schedules and they’re actually happy about working.
I don’t understand why you feel bad for them and say that Retail trumps Tradition. My family doesn’t celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday because of in-laws and things like that. My family has celebrated on the Friday after for close to 10 years now. I therefore choose to work on Thanksgiving because I work at a hospital and someone has to. That way the rest of my team gets to be off on Thanksgiving with their families to celebrate, I get to be off Friday with my family, and I get paid time and a half for a pretty slow day of work. Just because we work on Thanksgiving doesn’t mean we are “forced” too. Just keep that in mind.
Rite Aid has been a little disappointing the past couple months. It used to be my go to store but I can’t remember the last time I was excited to go lol.
I agree, they’ve been a little disappointing lately but there’s still some good stuff in the ad.
I did run across a coupon for $1/1 American Greetings Children’s wrapping paper today- would this be included in the wrapping paper deal maybe?
Thanks so much for posting these deals today (and everyday) Collin! Have a Happy Thanksgiving holiday!
If you have a Piggly Wiggly near you, you can get a $1.00/2 Hersey Pot of Gold Tear off coupon 🙂
Wet N Wild Little Luxuries… yup, cause the bottles are mini sized not full size. That “$9.99 value” seems kind of deceiving.
but come on its FREE!! YOU DONT HAVE TO GET IT YOU CAN ALWAYS JUST LEAVE IT FOR SOMEONE ELSE WHO WANTS IT COME ON PEOPLE STOP COMPLANING ABOUT THE AD THEY ARE REALLY GOOD DEALS I GOT FRIENDS THAT LIVE IN MEXICO AND THEY DONT DO NOTHING OVERTHERE NO DEALS AT ALL LETS BE GREATFUL THAT WE CAN ACTUALLY GET FREE STUFF OR CLOSE TO FREE STUFF 😀
There is a November Video Value Q for $1 off 2- 2 liter Coca-cola that can be added to the deal above.
Thanks! Just added it. 😀
In most stores you should find hangtags on the Mello Yellow, Sprite and Sprite Zero for $1/4. It is a MQ. Makes the 2 liters an even better deal! (I know my RA has these cause I work there and my hubby spotted them at a couple other stores as well, so keep your eyes peeled!)
There have been $1 off Revlon Top Speed nail polish Manufacturer coupons on Revlon displays in many of my local stores lately- you could match that with the $2 adperk coupon to make it a $2 moneymaker!
You can use the General Mills $1/2 coupon, and each box of cereal is only a dollar!
Collin, For the Dove/Degree deo deal, if you got the glam camp bag from the rebate book there is a $2/1 Dove or Degree store coupon in it!!! Makes a really sweet deal!
On the front page of the weekly Rite-Aid flyer, it say that Old Spice and Dove deodorants are Buy One Get One 50% off – I wonder if this will hold for the 3-day sale also – it will make an even better deal if so…
this weeks ad was just Sun – Wed. Then a 3 day ad Thurs – Sat, so no overlapping.
I think you are wrong Ad states Nov 20 thru nov 26.
Our ad also states, “Sale Dates November 20-26”.
I coulda sworn it was only good until the 23rd, musta confused it with the CVS ad! Well, if the BOGO50% works with the 2/$4 sale, that would throw me off!!
Can you get rain checks for these deals?
I was told by my store, limited stock on hand, but I only seen that on the mini polish. Will check my add today when it comes. Also trying different locations because even normally..mine limits raincheck to one of the item, if the add states two get the up they limit to the two. A different location allows 6. If its limit of two ups on purchase of two, they allow you to get the four for the up deals, and any after for just the sale price before ups. Its interesting to see such big differnces, not only in rainchecks but limits on sales and employee attitude.
Does anyone have a scenario??? I am horrible at those// 🙂
what do you need? Mine is pretty simple –
8.00 – 4 Degree deo’s
5.98 – 2 Revlon nail polishes
1.99 – 1 Gillette shave gel
5.00 – 5 coke 2 Ltrs
= 20.97
use $10 in Ups, $4 in Degree q’s (4 $1/1 IPs), 1 $2 Revlon VV, 1 $1 Revlon VV, 1 $1/1 Gillette q, 2 .50/2 Coke VVs (1 from my acct, 1 from dh’s acct) $ 1 $1/1 Coke q from Recycle Bank
= 20.00 in q’s
Pay .97 + tax. Then send in receipt for my Endorsements!!
Send your reciept where for endorsement?

https://hip2save.com/2011/11/14/endorse-changes-to-program-new-thanksgiving-offer-earn-20-cash-back/
I wasn’t quite sure how it would work, so I only sent in a small batch of receipts, but already have $12 in my account!
I don’t see a softsoap coupon on the 10/30 SS
I truly must live in the worst region ever…we didn’t get the wet & wild coupon from the 11/6 RP….or the softsoap coupon from the 10/30 SS….or the M&M coupon from the 11/13 RP. Darn! I did however find a $1 off 2 General Mills cereals in my 11/13 GM insert so the chex cereal would only be $1 each.
Okay…..It’s not just me 🙂
why cant i shop the black friday ad deals from the flyer online? i ever search for them on their website and none show up?!! help!!!
there was no 11/6 RP (wetnwild) !!!!!!!!! I need to know where to find the coupon! help!
or a 10/30 ss!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok now i feel stupid! HAHAHA 2011 not 2012! Wrong ad!!!!!!!
