Numerous readers are having issues with being able to stack a Target coupon and manufacturer coupon together on one item. Well, the good news is that Target’s coupon policy clearly states that you can use both coupons together on one item. Their policy also states that if the value of the coupon is higher then the value of the item, then they can adjust the coupon down. Plus, their coupon policy in now available to view online here! Yay! Print it off and keep it with you every time you shop at Target. You also may want to read more about the coupon issues people have been encountering and what can be done about it here.

**Also, Target is now giving a $0.05 credit for each reusable bag you use when checking out! I’m excited about this. It’s just another great way we’ll be able to save at Target. I would call ahead to make sure your local Target is participating.

  1. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi! I was just at Target last evening (Saturday evening) and I bought 5 Glade Tins and 5 Glade refills, and only received 1 $5 Gift Card. Was my “Much stubborn” cashier just withholding it from me or does it not work?
    Paula

  2. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

There is a coupon insert towards the back of the November Shape magazine with Pledge coupons. One coupon for a $1.50 off any two furniture care products and one for a $1.00 off any pledge multi surface product.

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Paula, I purchased the 5 glade warmers and 5 refills, used all available coupons and received 2 $5.00 Target gift cards with no problems. You SHOULD be able to take your receipt in and show that the second gift card isn’t on your receipt, and they’ll issue you one.

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The coupons inside my glade candle holders were for $2.00 off! so it made my entire purchase of 5 candle holders and 5 candle refills only $2.50 and I got two $5 target gift cards! I am gonna do it again tomorrow! these make great gifts!!

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Does anyone know where the Target Keebler coupon is located? Is it in a insert or IP coupon? I want to do the Keebler deal tomorrow. Thank you.

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

For those of you that are not getting the gift cards for the glade, you need to make sure that you are getting the correct ones. The Only ones this works for is the Holiday Scents. If you are in doubt you can price scan and it will tell you. The cashier has nothing to do with it. The register prompts them to scan a gift card after 5. HTH.

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Paula,
This also happened to me but then I relaized that it was because I bought some of the regular refill scents and those are NOT included in the promotion. You’ll only receive the 2 gift cards if you purchase the 2 holiday scents.

Also I had a horrible experience my second time around trying to do the glade deal. The supervisors didn’t want to accept my internet coupons and they also told me that I could only use 1 coupon per purchase. They were also very rude when I told them to call the coporate number to get their internet policy. They said they don’t have time for that.

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If you buy 6 chips deluxe, and use 3 $1/2 target coupon and 3 $1.50/2 MQ, your total would be .50 for all 6! An even better deal!

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

This is kinda long… but I had a CRAZY incident last weekend at Target with the Glade deal…

I had a whole big fiasco last weekend with this deal and the other coupons I was using… but I stayed calm and stood my ground! The cashier did not ring all of my coupons up correctly but as there was a line forming I did not make a fuss about it. (my total was around 12.00 when it should have only been 5.00). She also started to tell me they didn’t really take internet coupons and could get in trouble for taking them (but did anyways). I just went over to customer service and was told to go back and get my coupons from the cashier which I did, and then asked if they could VOID out my transaction and just re ring it (so that everything was correct both on my end and their end)

Well the supervisor told the cust service to give me a refund and re ring everything and that I’d be credited to my debit card. Well I didn’t notice until afterwards and I was home that I had been refunded the full price PRE coupon. And then I thought that the cashier had voided out my gift card for the Glade deal and my card only had 5.00 on it, and a few days later trying to use it, there was 10.00 on it!

And once everything was rung up correctly… what do you know! My total was 4.98 just like it should have been!

I wound up walking out of there with almost a 20 dollars profit between the refund and the additional 5.00 on the gift card… but I did not feel bad about it because I did nothing wrong there, and was just trying to pay 5.00 for my one transaction, and not scam them out of anything. If it was my intention to do a big refund and whatnot and make a profit then that is absolutely wrong, but the supervisor okayed everything and it just goes to show that Target will actually SAVE A LOT of money just by making sure that their cashier’s are ringing in coupons correctly the first time!

There are 3 Targets I frequent, and only this particular one though I’ve ever had any trouble with. They also tried to tell me once they do not take Blinkies, when I have used them fine in other Targets.

    SORRY IF THIS WAS LONG!

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

thanks for letting me know that the deegre 1.50 off q could be printed multiple times i still had another red plum q for 3.00 yeah.

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Does anyone know if you can pre-order Tinkerbell at Toys R Us and get a free $5 gift card? If so, wouldn’t the following be a good deal:

    2) Tinkerbell Movies (on sale for $21.99) = $43.98 – $10 (gift card pre-orders) – $20 Movie Q’s = 13.98.

Plus they have a special that for a FREE Disney Fairies Lantern (12.99 value) with ANY Disney Fairies purchase of $40 or more!

So you would get 2 movies and a lantern for $13.98.

Sure wish they had a $5 of $25Q available now.

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The $2 off Glade coupons found in some of the holders are for use only when buying two of the holders.

The $1.50 coupons are off one holder.

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    @anon-07:36:00 PM
I had the same thing happen to me last week when I went to Target. The first time I went I was able to purchase 5 tins, use the $1.50 off coupon & purchase 5 refills and use the coupon to receive them for free. I got two $5.00 gift cards, no problem at all.

The second time I went the cashier questioned the coupons, called the supervisor, who then told me I could NOT use both coupons. I had to choose one or the other!! I told her I had done the same thing the day before and she told me they should not have let me. Her reason was because she said I was using TWO mfg. coupons on one product. I tried to tell her that no, it was one product per item. She was not relenting and I was starting a migraine headache. I gave up. But I still don’t think she was right.

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was at Target today and since they do price matching I took my CVS ad in with me. CVS has select Kellogg’s cereal on sale 2 for $4. Well, I got my target to price match it and used the target Q for $1/1 kellogg’s cereal. I also had a blinkie from kroger for another $1/1 cereal so I used it.

However, if you only have the Target Q, a $1 is still pretty cheap for cereal and you may find the boxes that have the $5 coupon books in them. Just FYI

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

There were a lot of plegde coupons from the home made simple book weren’t there…?

  16. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

On the Renu coupon you can print 4 per computer!!!

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Anonymous 8:02, those $2 coupons are on one, but they aren’t found in the tins, they came from the bigger glass candle holders, (same candle, but different glass holder) They say $2 off any Glade Scented oil candle holder, which includes the tin so it can be used. On the other side of that coupon is a Buy 2 refills, get 1 free. So the best deal if you have these q’s is to buy 3 tins and 3 refills, use 3 $2 q’s, 2 Buy the tin get the refill q free, and 1 buy 2 get 1 free refill coupon. Pay $1.50 and get $5 back.

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I can’t find the $3 off Huggies coupon on coupons.com. I see a $1.50 off and a $3 for the Pure and Natural. Am I missing something?

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh wait…sorry, I just figured out that sale IS on the Pure and Natural diapers. Sorry.

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Kmart has halloween candy for $1.88(front page of ad) that can be price matched at Target. And there are lots of $1 off 2 Target Print Qs too.

  21. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

For those of us who were able to score the free subscription to SHAPE magazine – there is a whole section of high value pledge and glade coupons in the November issue.

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

CVS has Chex Mix for $1.50
    Buy 2 at $1.50
    -$1/2 Target Print Q
    -$.50 x 2 Manuf Q
    only $1 for 2

Also, with the Kmart $1.88 candy, Nestle is included. The catch is you have to buy 4 to get that price.

“Limit 4. Purchases of less than or more than 4 are $2.49 each”

    Buy 4 Nestle 11.5 to 12.5 oz, $1.88 each
    Use 4 $1 off print Q
    Pay $0.88 each bag!

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

On the Glade deal, does the refills have to be a holiday scent too? I was so happy to find the holiday tins only to find out no refills were in stock of the Holiday scent so I couldn’t do the deal again, my second attempt. However, I did find free $6.00 Airwick Deal so I guess it’s wasn’t a wasted trip.

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Other price-match deals:
Walgreens has Jimmy Dean Breakfasts $2
(Jimmy Dean Breakfast Bowls, 7 or 8 oz.
    2 pack Biscuit Sandwiches)
Use $1 off 1 Target Print
    Price $1!

Walmart has Duncan Hines Brownies $1
    Use $0.50 Target Print coupon
    Price $0.50 a box!

Also, I saw $4 coupon on some Kashi TLC bars (found hidden at endcaps). there were 2 Qs good for any Kashi: $1/1 Target Kashi Q and $3/2 Kashi Manuf Q.

    2 Kashi Waffles, $1.99 each
Used two $1/1 Kashi Target peelie
    Used $3/2 Kashi Manuf peelie
Got 2 FREE waffles plus $1 overage!

And for those wondering, these coupons didnt say you had to buy the product the stickers were on. So I felt ethically ok to peel them off and use them for another product.
Thanks so much for your posts, scored lots of free food last week thanks to your coupon-match-up updates!

  25. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

yes the refills have to be the holiday scent if you want an additional gift card. I found apple cin. with the regular refills, I check on the self price scanner and they were apart of the deal so i bought 5 to go with my tins. MMMM they smell so good! I’m so glad this deal will be going on for a while!

  26. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

maybe it’s just me, but I think we should see to it that our coupons go through accurately, however if a cashier makes a mistake and over refunds you, than you should also see to it that it too gets straightened out because a cashier might just loose a job. Now is not the time to be jobless. In addition, we have to go back into these stores and if we operate out of some sort of integrity, it will be respected and appreciated.

  27. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You posted coupons for family fun night through Hasbro the other day… There is a $5 off Connect 4 4×4 which is on sale this week at Target for $9 making this game only $4!!!

  28. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

There is a Q in the new Better Homes and Garden issue for $1.50 off of the Glade candle tins. Same as the coupons in the tins but those were all gone when I went on to my Target on Saturday. Fortunately, I had 2 coupons with me, 2 coupons from Right@Home for free refills and I found 1 lone Q in a tin! So I was able to do the deal for a 2nd time on Sat. (had done it once on Fri. too). Cashier tried to argue I couldn’t use 2 free refill coupons but I stood my ground and told him I had just done it the day before, have email corp. about this twice now and talked to a manager! He gave in and took it!

  29. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh, I saw Pledge Qs in Better Homes and Garden and Cooking Light. I just got them in the mail on Sat. so I am assuming they are NOV issues.

  30. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I know this deal is past, but I just have to share! I went to Target last Saturday evening and price matched the Kelloggs cereal with Walgreens $1.75/box. So I got 2 boxes of Raisin Bran Extra! (my hubby LOVES this)…total was $8.00(ish) price match brought it down to $3.50 … 2 $1/1 Target Kelloggs Q’s brought it down to 1.50… then a Mfr. coupon $1/2 brought my GRAND total down to 0.50!!!! WOO HOO!!! I was psyched!!
    Paula

  31. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I got some great deals at Target today, but Connect 4 was not one of them! The item on sale is the regular Connect 4, and the coupon is for $5 off Connect 4×4, which is not on sale. Bummer!

  32. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Did you guys open the packages to get the coupons for the Glade deal?

  33. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So… I made the mistake of preordering Tinker Bell at the Disney Store. Does anyone know if they will take the manufacturers coupon from the link listed? Thanks!

  34. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

All the coupons inside of the Grade tin are taken out…sad..

  35. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

There were no coupons inside the tins. So I only got 3 from the coupons I already had.

  36. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I cannot get the Glades to print. I have tried new links and made sure the link was for FF and nothing. I also cannot get Smartsource coupons to print. Anyone had this problem? I can print coupons.com

  37. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Target has the Degree 2pks on sale for $3.99 this week. I was able to get a 2pk for FREE using the Red Plum Q and manufacturer’s Q.

  38. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The keebler coupon on target.com expires on oct 24th. Can i still use it?

  39. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

this is probably a REALLY obvious question, but I was wondering if the $1.50 coupons in the glade tins were target coupons? i was thinking i would pair them with man coupons if they were, but just wasn’t sure. thanks!

  40. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

WOW, I am in Glade Heaven! It worked like a charm with no hassle, which is a first. I was able to score 5 Glade Tins + 5 Refills with $5 OOP and received 2 x $5.00 Target Gift Card! Going back to do Pledge deal tomorrow with the Gift Card I received. I do believe SUCCESS really depends on the CASHIER.

  41. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

PLEASE HELP! Has anyone try using or can you use the $1.50Q or B1G1 on the Limited Holiday Scent Glade CANDLE (i.e., Peppermint or Homemade Gingerbread scent) or do you have to use it on the Candles Tin only?

  42. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Anon 1:41
I did the deal and purchased the candles, but I used Man Q (41.50 off 2) from the paper. What does the coupon state? Smemtimes it will feature an item but the wording will allow you to purchase a other items.

Don’t forget to pick up your cranberry juice. It’s currently on sale for $1.98 and there is a TQ for $1 off. I was able to get 11 64 oz bottles of them for only $11, and I paid for them using the $5 GC from the Glade offer. I’m heading to another Target this afternoon to grab a few more of the glade candles and the juice.

  43. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My Target gave some trouble on the deals. First off, the cashier would not take the $4/2 Rolaids coupon so I substitued the 2 $1/1 coupons. Second off, I tried a different deal with coupons from Vocalpoint for Kashi Go Lean cereal – she would not let those go so I did not buy them. Third, the Glade candles only had $2/2 coupons in them. And not all the candles had them. The cashier treated me badly. Very rude. I still am going to do it again, but I did have some trouble.

  44. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Okay…I’m going to head out tomorrow (later today) to try this. I finally spotted these fragrances. Wish me luck!

The Fiber Plus bars were 1.99 at my Target! I only had 3 coupons, but it still ended up being a great deal after the gift card.

I also purchased 5 of the Glade holders and 5 refills ( the holders are nice glass ones at my store, anyway) and used $2/2 coupons and a $1.50/1 coupon from previous Glade purchases and 5 free refill blinkies from Kroger. My total was 8-something with tax and I got back $10 in gift cards, plus I’m submitting for an S C Johnson rebate!

I also discovered that the apple cinnamon refills are not in holiday packaging, but are part of the gift card deal. =)

Two things about the glade deal- if your cashier tries to give you trouble for using the BOGO coupons as well as the $1.50 or $2.00 off coupons, remind them that the coupon policy allows a coupon PER ITEM, so they are all acceptable (you’re not trying to use two manufacturer’s coupons on the same one item, but rather one coupon on each item).

Secondly- you’ll get more for your money if you do two transactions of 6 candles/holders each. Get 3 holders (glass, not the tin) and 3 refills. Use 3 bogos. Your total will currently be $7.50 (not including tax). Use three $2/2 to drop your total down to $1.50, then you get the $5 gift card. Do the same transaction again and get another gift card- you can either use the first gift card to pay for the second $1.50 or pay out of pocket and have two $5 gift cards.

This way you get a total of 12 holders/refills instead of only 10, but you’re still getting your two gift cards and are only paying $ .25 per item. 🙂 Happy shopping!

I did EXACTLY what Ella suggested yesterday with DH in tow:) I then used the gift cards on a final purchase of 1/2 off Dollar Shop items, misc items, and Ocean Spray cranberry juice.

Thanks, Tawanda! for the post on the cranberry juice!!!!! I’m going back today to get more.

AND…I got 2 bottles of the Glade fabric refresher for $.49 each. They were $3.49 and had $2/1 Target Qs on them. I then had a $2/2 MQ, which brought them down even more!!!

I love how the cashiers try to argue internet Q usage and stacking MFQ with Target Q. For the internet I said “yes you do” and she scanned them. Next she said I couldn’t stack coupons and hit her light. I offered to show her the Q policy and she declined and wanted to see what her supervisor said. I pulled it out anyway and she quickly turned her light off 🙂 THANKS for giving me the courage to stand up for myself with the coupon policy.

    Dear Ella,
I am still having trouble understanding how some of you guys use 3 x $2.00 q. I thought $2.00 q is when you buy 2 how can you use it on the 3 item? Are you using it against the actual total 6items (3 Refills and 3 Glass Holder)? In that case, which coupon do you hand over first, the $2.00 off 2 coupon then the BOGO free? Thanks in advance!
